V by Velveeta Skincare Creamy, Cheesy Goodness for Your Skin
My heart is hurt that V by Velveeta Skincare isn’t a real thing! I really wanted to smear warm, creamy cheese all over my face to hydrate and smooth my skin. As you may know I posted a Tiktok about this collection on my Instagram a few days ago. The dermatologist who originally posted it suffered some funny backlash for posting it as people literally thought it was real as he posted it way before April Fool’s Day! I mean, stranger things have happened in the beauty world right? Why not Velveeta Skincare?
Sadly, it’s not real but it sure is a hysterical idea!
I think the funniest thing was reading the FAQ on the vbyvelveeta.com website:
Q: CAN YOU EAT THIS?
A: We understand the creamy texture makes mouths water, but this is not suitable for consumption.
Q: DOES THIS WORK WITH ANY SKIN TYPE?
A: V by Velveeta is not suitable for all skin types. Because it�s full of dairy goodness, those with dairy allergens may have an adverse reaction.
Q: DO I NEED AN RX FOR THIS?
A: No way! We wanted V by Velveeta to be easy for everyone to access! But we do recommend talking directly with your dermatologist to see if V by Velveeta is right for you.
Q: DO I NEED TO HEAT THIS TO APPLY?
A: V by Velveeta should never be heated prior to application.
Q: HOW DO I STORE YOUR PRODUCTS?
A: We recommend storing our products in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
Q: CAN YOU SEND ME SAMPLES?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer product samples at this time! We encourage you to join our waitlist and check back when our product is in stock.
Q: WILL THIS DISCOLOR MY SKIN?
A: Because we are the gold standard of beauty – golden coloration may occur.
Q: IS THIS SAFE TO USE AROUND MY EYES?
A: We recommend avoiding application near or around eyes to avoid irritation.
