Let it be known that Benefit Hoola Glow Shimmer Powder Bronzer was all my idea! Benefit Hoola Glow Shimmer Powder Bronzer is a new version of a beloved fan favorite! It’s still the same great bronzer you know and love but instead of a matte finish it’s now available in a shimmer one! I’ve been saying for years that Benefit should do a shimmery version of Hoola so I’m taking full credit for this ha….!

This Sephora exclusive has the same finely milled, silky consistency of the original but rather than the matte finish we know it has a subtle hint of shimmer to not only add warmth but a glow too. I find Hoola a little difficult to wear as it gives me a muddy complexion but I’ve always liked using it in conjunction with either a cheek stain or swirled with a powder blush. I know a lot of people enjoy using it to contour with but since I’m not a contouring queen I tend to just use it for added warmth in the colder months. My technique is to swirl my blush brush in Hoola, tap off the excess, and swirl my brush into my powder blush and apply! It gives me the flush of color I want plus the added warmth from Hoola. I’ve always wanted a bit of shimmer or glow to it though! This new version contains just that.

Benefit Hoola Glow Shimmer Powder Bronzer is available now at Sephora.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Thanks for the tip on mixing with blush. I HATE HOOLA. Looks like mud, with swampy, sulfuric undertone. Had to powder over Sydney Grace Pure Love today, so should have thought of this tip myself!
