Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Releases To Compliment Good Girl Parfum But I Never Really Smelled Like a Good Girl At All

Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Eau de Parfum arrives at today with a cool, warm, spicy elements. The scent was created to compliment Carolina’s Good Girl Perfume that launched a few years ago. I’m just throwing it out there but Good Girl smells nothing like a good girl…! It’s all bad! Ha…! Good Girl comes across harsh to my nose! It’s a heady tonka blend that tickles my nose and makes me want to sneeze. It’s one of the very rare scents that I purchased spontaneously on a blind buy that I didn’t love.

Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Eau de Toilette uses the same tonka bean element and and mixes it with amber and cocoa. I typically don’t get crazy over men’s fragrances but the amber note caught my eye and there’s a good chance that Bad Boy might turn into a unisex blend for some of us. It may also, end up complimenting Good Girl if there two are cocktailed! That’s up for debate obviously until we actually play mad scientist and do the mixing. I’m oddly attracted to warm, amber fragrances and I’ve been known to apply men’s perfume a time or two!

The scent opens with White Pepper, Black Pepper and Bergamot, settles on to skin with Sage and Cedar, and dries down to warm Tonka Bean, Cacao and Amberwood notes.

If Bad Body isn’t as heady as Good Girl and the amber plays nicely with some of the citrus elements in this blend it might just be a win for women as well as men!

Have you ever worn a men’s fragrance?

What do you think of the notes of Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Eau de Parfum?

Viktor + Rolf SPicebomb is a nice scent women can wear if your like those spicy ambery/vanilla scents (it’s like a less vanilla-based Tobacco Vanille). I get compliments on it all the time when I wear it. Prada Luna Rossa is another nice unisex scent if you like Iris/Lavender notes. I’m intrigued by the notes in Bad Boy, but I have o much perfume. . .

I mix spicebomb with more cake-y vanillas and it smells like swoooonnnn! haha. It seriously smells incredible. Spicebomb along is horrifying loud but if you mix it with a gourmand white cake-like vanilla you get insta-sex! So gooddd! Me too. Prob will sniffle this just out of curiosity. Good Girl never worked for me so not sure on Bad Boy!

I love Classic Old Spice and throw some on now and then 🙂

Oh my gosh good one I like one of the deos shoot which one…is it Wolfthorn? It’s one of those…! It smells amazing. We’re weird you know that right? ;-D

      • Catherine

I love wolfthorn! I used to wear Old Spice Amber deodorant but it was discontinued, so I switched to wolfthorn. And I refuse to believe I am weird lol.

Bad Girl is a headache in a bottle for me, so I will test Bad Boy in the store before making a decision. I have a feeling it will be too harsh for me, but I will keep an open mind.

I am a gourmand girl at heart, but love a lot of unisex scents. And, by the way, thank you for posting fragrance reviews, my collection has grown exponentially due to your blog .

YOU ARE NOT 🙂 I used those old spice ones too they smell amazing hahaha! Bad Girl isn’t really my jam so I’m not quite sure about Bad Body! I am too! I adore anything sweet or foody scented. I also like more complex deeper gourmands! Oh my gosh that’s wonderful 🙂 thank you for reading them!

85% men’s; 15% women’s. The men’s are pretty unisex or outdoorsy and the women’s are chypres and florals, pretty big, pretty old, mostly OG classics. Unlike most of today’s preferences, dislike gourmand and love aquatics, esp with an unexpected note. How many times can I say massive TY for Creed at CosBar? Not enough, really. Although it’s hot enough today to open one of the Rituels from CosBar, too. Mandatory that you guys follow Muse’s sale tips, should you want to score scent. PS, guys, it was about 750$ worth of savings.

I don’t have anything to add about men’s fragrance but why does Carolina Herrera hate the US ladies so much??? Bad Boy Le Parfum came out in Europe the same time as the new Very Good Girl (Feb).BB has been available in the US for a while now but no Very Good Girl !! Ugh

I think Very Good Girl gets a Fall 2021 release! But if you really want it lookfantastic has it ;-D

      • Danielle

Oh, thanks for telling me. Now I don’t need to stalk Ulta’s website so hard. I’ve heard Very Good Girl is more of a warm weather fragrance, wonder why they are releasing it in Fall?

        • Isabella Muse

my pleasure. Who knows…! Sometimes fragrance releases are really wonky! I see some fruity/sweet gourmands launch mid-Winter and I’m like WHYYY!

I wear Tom Fords Ombre Leather which is gues is technically unisex. Smells great on me and terrible on my hubby.

I never smelled Ombre Leather! I’m a bit TV fan though which I kind feel is unisex!
