Random Sh1T I Brought On Etsy That I Don’t Regret One Single Bit

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

We were on our way home last weekend and my best friend texted me to tell me that all these new decor drops were happening on Etsy and I wanted to murder her because two minutes later I had spent $100 on stuff I did not need.

Does that every happen to you on Etsy? I mean, you start browsing and suddenly you have a cart filled with the oddest things!

Etsy is a vortex you get sucked into and you aren’t spit out on the other side until you drop $100+ on random stuff for your bath, body, and home.

And I’m not mad about it.

Here’s some random sh1t I recently purchased on Etsy.

Emma White Dress with Bow
COVID permitting we may or may not be attending a white party in the Hamptons come August. Our friends have a Summer home and they already sent out invites for a party they typically have every year! Last year, they didn’t have it and this year it’s supposed to be a lot smaller. We’re all supposed to be vaccinated by that time so fingers crossed it’ll happen in a safe, anxiety-free way. I started shopping a few dresses and ended up loving on Emma one on Etsy. I’m still a little unsure if this is what I want to wear but even if I don’t use it for the party it’s still nice for Summer wear! I have a lace crinoline which I plan to wear under it for a little more fluff and a gorgeous pair of high heel sandals from ASOS that I never broke out of the box.

Doctor Who Custom Sneakers
I’ve ordered a few pairs of custom sneakers from PerfectPairSneakers in the past. They do an amazing job with a variety of fandoms! These Doctor Who Time Vortex ones are the latest ones I got. They really did an amazing paint job on them! Whovians will want a pair for sure!

Black Chantilly Lace Face Mask
Anyone out there buying pretty lace face masks just for the hell of it? If nothing else we can do some RPG at home with these bad boys. Oops did I say that out loud?! Seriously though, I’m having a hard time resisting some of these beautiful masks! I recently purchased the Dita Von Teese one several weeks ago and Etsy randomly recommends them to me. This Chantilly Lace Face Mask is gorgeous! I’m cringing inside I paid for it….! I wear it on top of another mask and it looks incredible but it was one of those really bad late night purchases that I sort of regret but don’t regret…..!?!

The Child Floral iPhone Case
I mean, does this even need an explanation?

Heart Cream Blush
Etsy is a danger to my wallet during the Holidays. I’ll start hunting down random crap when Halloween, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, etc…rolls around! I came across these cute heart cream blushes that had a Too Faced vibe back in February. The formula is quite creamy and it gives cheeks that just pinched look!

Adventure in the Great Wide Somewhere
You already know I’m a massive Whovian but I’m also a fond fan of Beauty and the Beast! This print from Karen Hallion was one my wish list for a while! I finally got it back in December as a gift from me to me. I put it up in my home office and it makes me smile every single time I look at it!

Pink Lemonade Garland
If you follow me on Instagram you likely know I have a really small (GIANT) Rae Dunn addiction. With that addiction comes all sorts of little accessory bits and bobs that I end up dressing up my displays and tiered tray with! As Summer approaches I’ll be redoing my kitchen decor with lemon-y accents. This cute garland is going to make appearance in one of my displays!

Wicked Bar Break-Apart Candy Bar Sugar Scrub
Blood Bath started created this cute break apart Wonky Bar scrubs available in a few different scents. I’m a kid enough to adore them! Coffin Candy smells amazing as does Chocolate Truffle!

The dress is adorable. The beads too. Last Etsy: mask with Great Wave off Kanagawa tossing around dachshunds. I love dachshunds, Hokusai, and art parody. Perfect. Except that the elastic would only fit a toddler. Amazon, sewing (arrrgh), and done.

You think? I’m not sure if it’ll be good for the party! I’m debating ;-D Love the beads! Gonna pop ’em in my lemonade pitcher for display! Ha sounds like a cute mask! Awww noooo that sucks! Ill fitting masks are the devil’s work 🙁

Just wanted to say i got the rouge from etsy you recommended can’t wait to get it

  • Christina

The dress is pretty! You really bought a random assortment of things. LOL!

    • Isabella Muse

Don’t act like you don’t understand the struggle LOL!

  • Jane

I’m still not in a position to buy anything, but I do love filling up a cart for pretending I’m buying something. Mostly old, discontinued perfumes and dead stock earrings and barrettes and such.

Do you sew? Tabitha Sewer sells a Lena Horne sewing pattern dress that reminds me of this, only the straps are ruffles and criss-cross at the back. I don’t feel like figuring out that bra situation so I haven’t bought it, but it’s so adorable. But she’s not on Etsy, so I am violating the spirit of this post!

    • Isabella Muse

aw sorry Jane but virtual carts are the best carts imho! It helps remind us we have plenty we need to use up already! You aren’t violating at all! I don’t sew sadly! I wish I did because that sounds like something I’d love!
