I finally mastered Pat Mcgrath Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Setting Powder application and I’m remember to take on that new yellow shade! As you may know I was determined to make Pat Mcgrath Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Setting Powder but sadly, it wasn’t happening!

I’ve been in love with this smooth baked powder for a whole now! Its very powdery but soft, finely milled, and ultra silky! It’s also very pigmented and brightens up eyes beautifully. Sadly, my eyes are just too dry for it and this creases within moments of application. I’ve tried a few different techniques and up until now I haven’t been able to quite master this formula

I think I got it now!

Ok, so, it’s going on a week now and so far I’ve been having a good time with this. Here’s my steps to get it to work!

I normally reserved the use of Versed The Fix Emergency Eye Mask for nightly use only but I decided since Pat’s formula needs so much hydration that his would be perfect. I apply my normal eye cream, allow it to absorb, and I follow up with a tiny dab of the The Fix Emergency Eye Mask. After that I proceed to apply my concealer as normal and the rest of my makeup!

As the last step in my routine I swirl my Bobbi Brown Eye Blender Brush into the Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Setting Powder and tap it several times to remove most of the powder. A little goes a long way so just load the brush up and get the bristles nicely dusted but tap, tap, tape away any excess powder. I gently dust it under my eyes and apply more as needed.

Done!

I think I might have been trying to apply too much before also, the added hydration from the eye mask really helps to prevent this from creasing under my eyes!

I’m beyond excited this technique worked. Try it out it might work for you too!

Now I can purchase the new yellow shade!

So much work to make a powder work. Is it worth it? LOL!

I think I’m the only one who does not use under eye setting powder. I don’t even use under eye concealer–just a bit of a brightener from Mac that’s similar to touche eclat. I feel like powder anywhere other than my t-zone just looks drying, so I avoid it.

LOLLLLLLLLL girl! I was so determined to make this work! I wasn’t quitting until I finally got it down right! I just prep really really well and it looks a ok!

Looks as if there’s some sheen/reflection. The PMGL is not a good candidate for those who bake. Hope you caught up with Etude House and Innisfree closing their brick and mortars. Online only, and Yesstyle is not my bestie.

I bought the Versed Eye Mask because of your review- and it’s amazing! It’s also inexpensive, especially for the size tube you get. It’s super hydrating and no milia! Thank you so much, I would’ve never even heard of it if it hadn’t been for you. And my usually very dry but now moisturized under eyes say an even bigger thank you 🙂
