Tarte HydroFlex Serum Foundation and Blending Brush Available Now

Tarte HydroFlex Serum Foundation is a new medium-coverage serum foundation with a very interesting formula! Not only does this contain hyaluronic acid but it also contains niacinamide plus formula contains algae and kelp extracts to moisture skin as well! . Available in nearly 48 shades this serum foundation has a lightweight formula that gives skin a natural finish that feels second skin-like.

Today the foundation launched at tartecosmetics.com!

I actually ordered this immediately! QVC.com has it with a full-size HydroFlex Serum Foundation for $39 which made it a no brainer to pick up. I’m love lightweight coverage anyway and now with Summer rolling in I embrace lighter coverage more than ever. It sounds like this will be very lightweight and provide light moisture with a skin brightening formula. I think we’ll start seeing plenty of formulas like this as the warmer weather hits.

I gotta admit though Tarte has so many different foundation launches it can be a little difficult to keep track sometimes. Are they really new or just renamed and repackaged….? I wish they had listed the complete ingriedent list on qvc.com to compare but sadly, nothing there. None the less, I still want to give Tarte HydroFlex Serum Foundation a try and the price is very affordable with the brush included.

Tarte HydroFlex Serum Foundation is available now at qvc.com and will likely be available shortly at Tarte, Sephora, and Ulta.

What are your thoughts on this formula?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I was just gonna say Oh no, *another* foundation from Tarte? They never keep foundations around for long, which is why I stopped using tarte foundations – I’d never be able to replace it when I ran out of it. this does sound intriguing, tho….48 shades?!?! Holy moly – how do you decide what to get? What shade(s) did you get Muse?

    • Isabella Muse

right? tarte seems like they release new concealers and foundations every few months. This one did intrigue me though! I went with Light Medium Honey because I tan easily in the Summer even sunscreened to death! Hopefully that’ll do the trick!

Of course, I just ordered their SEA foundation, and it hasn’t even arrived yet. Pooh.

It sounds lovely but without the entire list of ingredients it’s a big nope for me I’m allergic to many ingredients in cosmetics that are not advertised so without the list I won’t consider it. It is such a turnoff to me when sellers don’t feel that full disclosure is important. Thank you for letting me rant but I had to learn the hard way how important that ingredient list can be!

I can’t wait to read your review. We seem to have similar skin so….you are the trailblazer.
I was also wondering which shade you decided to purchase. Too warm goes yellow on me, too cool looks grey. But sometimes “neutral” looks blah…

aw thank you! That’s very flattering! ! I went with Light Medium Honey because I tan easily in the Summer even with plenty of SPF. I hope that ‘ll work for me ;-D

It’s no where to be found. No one has it. QVC sold out same day. It’s waist listed at QVC. Not available anywhere else. It works be available as soon as it hits QVC. The excitement will due down by the time it is available. I will probably have moved in to another product. Not smart business.

    • Isabella Muse

It’s sold on QVC, I’m looking at it right now, all shades in stock.

      • Kelly

I don’t know what happened, but most of the shades are gone now on QVC.

Looks like a wait list, still available for purchase, may take a little while before it ships 🙂
