Your Best Feature and The One You Want To Change

Tell me your best feature! Now tell me one you want to change!

GO!

Mine?

Here ya go!

My best feature would be my skin….! Allow me to brag very briefly….I am poreless (except some minor visible pores on my nose), I am very smooth without any texture issues, and I am free from blemishes and acne. My skin has been like this as far back as I can remember. I never even went thorough any acne or blemish issues when I was a teenager! I remember high school being like a war zone for pimples especially during everyone’s period but I never had an issue. Acne, blemishes were never really an issue during my period or even just due to normal teenage hormones. I do remember in Freshman year have some minor forehead breakouts because sort of had bangs which I was growing out. But aside from that, I never really get breakouts now or back then. My skin is also, really resilient. Nothing really breaks me out or causes sensitives.

What would I change?

Eyes!

Eyes!

Eyes!

Eyes!

You already know how much I hate them. They dominate my face, they make me look like cartoon….! The eyes need to go 😉 I’d totally change them if I could. Maybe something a little smaller, less wide and buggy, and I wouldn’t mind a new shade…! I gotta be the girl blessed with bambi eyes over here! 😛

Your turn.

Your best feature and the one you’d like to change.

Tell me!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I dislike my hooded eyes! I do love my cheeks. I have nice high cheek bones.

I wish I had high cheek bones 🙂 My face is round :-/

Ah, my skin is exactly like your skin, except it is a little sensitive due to rosacea. People like to tell me that my skin is like a porcelain doll’s. I get the most compliments on my skin, so I guess it’s my best feature.
My worst is my thin lips. I even tried a filler once, but was dissatisfied w/ the results.
Honestly, Isabella, I adore your eyes! I wish mine were that big. It adds to your charm. I also think your hair is beautiful!

    • Isabella Muse

Yay! Skin twins! Aw 🙁 What was the filler experience like? I’ve never really thought my lips bad…they aren’t great by any means but I was never not satisfied with them. YOU are way too kind thank you!!!!!!! You can have both lol! My hair is wild and crazy and my eyes just a too big for my face shrug…! eep! 🙂

I had it done over 20 yrs ago, but I don’t remember having a lot of pain. The dermatologist used tiny needles & small syringes of Restylane. He was an advocate of fuller, but still natural looking lips, which is what I desired too, but I ended up feeling like there wasn’t much of a difference. I developed some minor side effects, which I don’t blame on him. It was probably how my body reacted to Restylane. He was an experienced, highly recommended doc. I developed a few unnoticeable bumps on the upper lip line that felt to the touch, like I had a grain of sand embedded under the skin. Like I said, unnoticeable to the eye, but it bothered me to feel them there. After the Restylane finally got absorbed completely by my body, the bumps were gone, but were replaced by tiny bluish veins on & slightly above the lip line. Yeah, they were unnoticeable, except by viewing in my 10x makeup mirror, but I was a little perturbed over them cos they were never there before the procedure. I still have those stupid veins there 🙁

Your lips are nice! This gives you an idea of how thin my lips are: a friend asked me to model for her art class. Before the students began, she reminded them to sketch exactly what they see, “I know that you can barely see any lips, but please resist the temptation to create more noticeable lips on her.”
No, I didn’t feel insulted when she said that, cos I know she wasn’t trying to be mean, just a bit brutally honest for her class’s sake. 🙂

I absolutely LOVE your big, beautiful eyes

My best feature would also be my skin. At 46, I still wrinkle-free, although I have a few sun damaged age spots on my cheeks.

My worst would be my large, wide nose with large pores on the edge.

    • Isabella Muse

Aw thanks! I have smaller visible pores on my nose too! You aren’t alone! A little primer helps fill them!

All of us love your eyes! I think my eyes are my best feature but wish they were symmetrical. One is more hooded than the other and it makes eye shadow interesting. I also like my lips. My worst is the cowlick on the top on the back of my head.

    • Isabella Muse

awww Dee thank you! <3! You're sweet! Aw! It's probably something only you're seeing though...! We pick apart these weird flaws that aren't even something anyone notices anyway ;-D haha...! I never had a cowlick but I become a poodle in the humidity. Frizz city!

My best feature is my blue eyes. I get a lot of compliments. My worst feature is my smile. My parents couldn’t afford to put braces on us kids and at 56, it’s not worth it.

  • MarinaD

Best feature: EYES, hands down! There’s rarely a day goes by when I don’t play them up with eyeshadow, liner, mascara, and the works. I even wear waterproof liner and mascara to the beach:)
Worst feature: lower abdomen. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind a tummy tuck if I had the money. But, oh well.

    • Isabella Muse

Yay!!!!! the eyes are the windows to the soul right? Awww embrace your tummy girl! I bet it’s cute!

Hey, I actually like the way I look awfully well. I figure it’s the only body I’m gonna have, might as well learn to love it and all of its quirks, including a cleft chin, broad temples, and crooked, overly short, Roman nose. Sometimes I even contour my cleft to exaggerate it further. So nothing I’d like to change, there… but if I could choose to change something, it would be my weight. If I was 15lbs lighter, I wouldn’t need to contour anymore.
Or my eyebrows, if it has to stay on my face. I wish they were just a little more arched and not filled with bald patches. It would save me some time in filling in my brows. 🙂
Everyone thinks your big eyes are beautiful! They make you look so innocent and sweet. It’s always better to look sweet and approachable rather than aggressive.
