Buxom Spiced Up Full-On Plumping Lipgloss for Fall 2021 with for brand new shades inspired by autumn, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and basic b1tchery! Buxom released this fun collection last year if you remember but it came at in July. I’m noticing a lot of Fall and Halloween items are popping up A LOT faster than year. Typically we start to see Fall decor in August but this year a lot of different stores have it out already and I find it weird. Ok, granted, I love Fall. Sorry, correction, I LOVE FALL! But I find it a bit weird to see it in June. It sort of scares me. Are they trying to say something? Like get your Fall on now because COVID Part 3 is coming atcha in September. Cringe! 50% of New Yorker is vaccinated at this point which helps! That’s pretty much herd immunity but I’m still concerned about variants and a potential uptick in cases after all the Summer partying I see people doing.

Oh my god I’m ruining this post with my paranoia!

On with the makeup…!

This year, we aren’t getting any Apple Cider inspired shades. All four launching are full on “I listened to Pearl Jam when I was in High School grunge”!

According to Ulta the shades are scented and flavored like either warm vanilla or pumpkin spice.

Shades include:

  • Pippa Pumpkin
  • Pumpkin Chai Latte
  • Spiced Vanilla Latte
  • Vivian Vanilla

The Buxom Spiced Up Full-On Plumping Lip Gloss Collection is available now at Ulta and each shade is $21.

Plan on hauling these?

These remind me of the Em Cosmetics lip glosses (Faded Clementine, Moroccan Sunset, etc.) but with Buxom’s signature plumping technology. Can you review those/compare?

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t have any of the Em ones but I sure can grab them! I don’t really love Em’s new look but been to trying some of the glosses ;-D I’ll see about comparing 😀

Oooohhh.. those two middle ones look really pretty! And I’m really getting back into glossy lips again – Hate matte lips, at least on me. Gonna have to look for these!!!

But FALL?!?!? Already?!?! Noooo….. I’m still recovering from the trauma of last winter!!! Please – not fall already!!! If I go into Hobby Lobby and they have Halloween stuff out, I will totally lose my $hi+!!!

  • Susan

Nah, I got one of them last fall and while it was pretty, it burned my lips like you wouldn’t believe.

And I totally expect to see pumpkin baking magazines for sale in the grocery stores soon, another thing that pops up earlier and earlier!

    • Isabella Muse

LOL yeah they aren’t for the faint of heart. I love buxom glosses but not everyone loves these ;-D It’s crazy how quickly things move!

I know what you are saying. I bought the ones from last year and they seemed to burn more than the regular Buxom glosses. Maybe they changed the formula but I used to wear Buxom gloss all the time and never thought the sting was all that bad.

I’m with you on both things – it’s too damned early to think about fall! We just went from 60s and rainy to 90+ degrees hot last week, so that’s summer. Fall is at least 2-1/2 months away.
And yeah, I’m concerned about a comeback of Covid. With the variants and the refusal of a lot of people to get vaccinated, the majority of the world’s population having no vaccines at all and people traveling like there’s no tomorrow, there’s no telling what fall will bring – when we actually get to fall (which to my recollection usually occurs around September/October in a large part of the country).

    • Isabella Muse

Same here. It seemed like summer rushed right in! That worries me A LOT! I’m seeing more and more people maskless and I sure as hell hope they are vaccinated and not just careless!

I think I will pick this up! Think how early the Winter and Christmas collections come out, Muse! Maybe this is a good sign that Fall is coming out so early.
