Not Me Hating On the Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 5

Anastasia Beverly Hills is set to launch the Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 5 this June for Summer 2021. The palette includes 25 pigmented shades of lilac, purple, pink,, brown, and orange shades in matte, satin, and multi-dimensional sparkle finishes.

As with all the Pro Pigment Palettes this was curated by Norvina personally and will be $60 with a cruelty-free formula that’s vegan. It arrives in a lilac case with a generously sized mirror.

I’m actually terrified of it. Let me correct that, all the Pro Pigment Palettes terrify me. I just never got on board with the, It’s too much color in one place for me. I feel overwhelmed and always feel like the shades just don’t really vibe well or match up the way I want them too! I’m boring like that I guess. I mean, I love purple and I think it’s some kind of wonderful for my brown eyes but I see this and visibly cringe because it feels like I’ll blend all the shades right into one muddy finish. I simply don’t have the level of skill needed to apply this palette. I will add some positivity to the post and say this is probably one of the more cohesive palettes she’s done. Most of them are really all over the board but this seems a bit better. I still think it falls victim to being palettes like Naked Cherry where it’s just too much of one shade and you end up not getting enough definition and contrast because of that.

I’m also, really over big palettes lately. Not to mention I really hate pigment palettes that are not eye safe and ranting moment here, I hate brands who don’t disclose that fact or use a very small warning on the back of the label to tell their consumers about it. I don’t feel I need this level of purple in my life right now.

On a positive note, I’ve always associated purple with Norvina so, this palette really brings that to the table. But again, the Pro Pigment Palettes just aren’t my deal! So sadly, this one fails to excite me.

It also feels like these shades already appeared in some of the past Pro Pigment Palettes.

Does the Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 5 excite you?

Something just clicked in me and I am embracing all the color.

Plus I gave Cranky Pants the purple ABH, and she won’t let me play with it. She tells me to go play with my ow makeup lol

It’s absolutely gorgeous! I have so many eyeshadow that are past their expiration but I can’t get rid of them. I cringe at some I rarely even used at $25 a piece. But this seems so convenient as a blue eyed gal. I could rock all of these colors!

This is what the original Norvina palette should’ve been. Just take away the pressed pigments and you got yourself a solid palette.

I definitely want this one . A friend of mine has the other Norvina palettes . I like the mix of purples and neutrals . I feel like I would mix it with one of my mostly blue palettes for some extreme galaxy vibes .

the blue and purple would look brilliant. I’m sadly not into it even if I spice it up with blue! I’m boring lately…!
