Here’s What You Need To Glow Like a Peach

Greetings and Salutations my friends! Did you sleep well and have pleasant nightmares? I sure hope you had the best week ever. It’s been a little stressful at work but nothing I can’t handle. Sorry, I’ve sort of been MIA lately but I’m slowly regaining my ground! I know I’m short on reviews lately. I’m sorry. I swear I wake up in the morning, wash my face, get my skincare in, conceal my eyes, curl my lashes, and pop my favorite cheek stain on and I’m out the door. It’s not that I don’t wanna wear makeup it’s just the humidity and the Summer sun has me like less is more dude, less is more.

I hate how COVID has me so confined inside lately. I try to minimize how much social time I have with people and being out and about especially with the new variants. Cases in New York are slowly creeping up and even vaccinated I like to be as safe as possible. I feel like I never spend any time with my real life friends lately and most of our interactions are weekends only. It’s weird for me to not be out and about.

THANK god for my online friends. We spend ours at night laughing and giggling like teenagers. They really have kept me sane these many months of pandemic torture.

Needless to say I’m looking forward to the weekend.

I’m going to Arlene’s Grocery this weekend for the first time since the panoramic started and I’m sort of terrified. Wish me luck.

Oh by the way….along with my quick cheeky stain and go look I have this new combo I’m loving lately. Maybe you caught it on Instagram?

I’m all into Baremineral Gen Nude Blonzer Blush + Bronzer in Kiss of Copper with Maybelline Molten Peach Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter lately. I apply the Gen Nude Blush + Bronzer first and I buff it in to death with the cool Powder Brush from the Sephora Rose Brush Set. I proceed to dust a little hint of the Molten Peach Master Chrhome Metallic Highlighter down my nose so I look like Rudolph the Hot Girl Summer Edition. I also dust a little of it on my cheek bones! Just a hint!

That’s it! No foundation, concealer under my eyes, use Kiss Falscara Natural Wispy Wisp to fill my natural lashes in, mascara, and a little thin liner on my eyes (I purchased an eyeliner stamp and dude, best thing evers). Fresh faced and peachy keen! I seriously have been doing this look like five or six times a week. It’s just my perfect Summer glow!

What’s your fav minimal Summer look?

I see so many people going more natural lately and I’m loving that because for a while there everyone was wearing pound of foundation and contouring themselves to death!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Girl, when you have gorgeous skin like yours, you don’t need much makeup! It absolutely is the perfect summer glow. Yes to more people looking like this and no to piling on thick makeup that is aging and bad for the skin. Have a wonderful weekend! I’m planning an outing to a museum specifically to see a traveling exhibit about Viking art. Nerdvana!!

Oh my god! Let me come! I do so love a good Viking exhibit! Aw you’re lovely thanks! Absolutely agreed! Less foundation more natural looks! people really pile on foundation jeepers!

Oh, and I was so busy slobbering over your perfect peachy glow that I didn’t answer your question. My fave minimal summer look is some tinted primer (good ol’ matte PoreFessional from Benefit), a sweep of pink blush, one color of shimmer eyeshadow, some mascara, and a lip gloss. And a bit of concealer on some broken capillaries and sun spots. That’s it. I’ve given up on liquid foundation, never contoured, and don’t even wear eye liner much any more.

You’re more than welcome to join me at the museum, I’ll even pay your admission. How fast can you get to Montana? 😉 I suspect you have a few more museum opportunities in NYC than I do!

We look so much alike! But you have better eyebrows, I have more freckles.

Great color combo. Rudolph, hot girl summer editionyou kill me. Actually, youre the Keane painting reality edition. My summer is stash shopping to avoid makeup dementia. I might have forgotten about a product, but have yet to find three dupes because I forgot, lol. The Delta news is scary. Stay safe.

I have been following you for years, but I never comment. You look absolutely gorgeous in that photo!

Hey there, classic cutie! You look absolutely wonderful – and what lovely lashes, too! I’m with you on Covid. I’m further south than NY, but even with two Pfizer jabs, and even masked, I don’t go out too much unless it’s really necessary. I’m concerned when I hear things like, “Now that the pandemic’s over…” because with the delta variant – and even a lambda variant in Texas and Peru – I’m still concerned. Be well and stay well!

  • Traci

That shade is really pretty on you! Definitely gives you a nice glow.

  • Jane

Ahh! You really do look like a peach! So fun!

Im still not wearing really any makeup since I keep masking. I have three too young to be vaccinated children, so Ill just keep masking (especially since I personally know two people with breakthrough covid) until theyre vaccinated (hopefully soon).

You look absolutely gorgeous! Just like a doll. So radiant and youthful. Love seeing your hair down. 🙂
I have the same routine year-round… SPF, brow powder, contour, a touch of foundation to even out my cheek redness, mascara, a little bit of eyeliner on the outer 2/3rds of my upper eyelid, SPF dewy setting spray, then mattifying powder over my nasolabial folds. I’ve been switching between my usual matte red lip and just dabbing on the smallest amount of the red and topping with lip balm for a glossy pink finish. Takes about 10 minutes to put my face on every day and I look so much more vibrant and polished.
