About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. A while ago, I got the take-your-pick foursome and was pleased beyond expectation. The HL (and Im no HL lover) was terrific. Wet look, no oncoming train, warmish pinky gold. Wearable even on this septuagenarian. The order with pencils was missing one. So what? Who wants the time suck and frustration of rectifying it? Prob was surprised about my big love, as all bases have been no-gos. Fenty sales are good deals, and the contributions to the foundation in honor of her parents does not hurt. This is one celebrity brand that ticks all my boxes.

I bought this as soon as it came out, before there were any reviews. And I didn’t really look at the write-up, I just bought it because I like their Gloss Bombs. The catch is that this is a plumping lip gloss and as a result, it burns your lips. It’s not as bad as some I’ve tried, but I wore it over lip stick (it is very sheer) and my lips still burned. I probably won’t use it very often. If you don’t mind the burn of a plumping gloss, it shouldn’t bother you. Enjoy!

I don’t really mind tbh! I tend to like plumping glosses! I’m a huge lip venom fan so I think I can handle this one hah! but thanks for the warning as there are a lot of sensitive users!
