This Popular Concealer Eye Treatment is 25% Do I Need It?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Skincare.com has 25% Off today on select brands! Soap & Glory, Elizabeth Arden, Revolution Beauty, First Aid Beauty, and more is on sale with code THANKYOU. I was thinking I wanted to finally take the plunge and purchase Colorescience Total Eye 3-in-1 SPF35 Renewal Therapy. Does anyone have experience with it? I’ve seen so many demos of this thing that my head spins each and every time I watch someone applying it because it looks like perfection. I have this feeling it’s probably sheer and I’ll hate and the price of $75 (it is 25% off at least) just kills me because what if I love it!?

Anyone have experience with this one?

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. Girl, the Sisley is 115. Says BG. Never tried this, but have wanted to.

ive tried it and the sisley one. i have a light complexion. i have dry undereyes and deep hollows. i love the color correcting on both products. the colorscience is great BUT the tube i purchase has an odd consistency where it separates. ive tried shaking it, storing it upside down and mixing it on my palm. i find the sisley is the similar color with about the same consistency as the colorscience (minus the separation). i will likely repurchase the colorscience. hope this helps!

Thanks Laura that was very helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀

I use this everyday. I use it all around my eyes, lids and under eye. It is hydrating, has spf, and brightens subtly. Shade medium would probably work well on you, which used to be the only shade available. Dont expect concealer like coverage. Most days I use just this, but sometimes I put concealer on a little concealer too afterwards. The trick for me is not to put on a full pump because it is too much. It is more like a quarter pump or half pump and it is enough for both eyes. Dab on in spots around the eyes, then use the applicator to spread it, and then blend with fingers.

thanks! I was wondering what should would be best for me! thanks for the application tip! I’m going to just indulge and try it!

I’ve been tempted to try it. I had a discount code and bought ColorScience’s super expensive All Calm sunscreen/primer and I hate to say it, but it’s pretty damn good. All their stuff is expensive, but everyone seems to love their formulas!

    • Isabella Muse

Exactly! Everyone really raves their stuff and I was tempted to just indulge with the 25% off!

I use this and it’s a great product – super moisturizing and good coverage. You only need a bit and you can layer it up. I use the lightest shade because I don’t like those very peachy-orange color correctors on me. I think I must have purchased mine a long time ago because it was definitely not $75, more like $69 and then a discount. When did the price get so high? Yikes!

    • Isabella Muse

I thought the price was outrageous for a simple corrector but people keep raving it and I really wanna give it a go!

  • Dee

I’m the odd man out as I find this to be just so-so. It does brighten but really doesn’t color correct on me. Glad others like it and you just might! Always good to try when there is a discount because it is expensive!

Nope, did nothing for me after it dried down. Also it dispenses way too much.
    I tossed it.

Hi Isabella, yes I currently am using this. I have the original shade which is a medium. Well I have mixed feelings. I like it because of the spf factor. I really only use it when I go out for a long walk & will be out in the sun for extended period of time. Otherwise I’m really not using it. It does settle into lines. I was thinking to get the lightest shade but it is overpriced so I’m torn. Hope this helps.

    • Isabella Muse

It helps a lot thanks Geri! I have it in my cart and I think I’m just going to bite the bullet and grab it. I thought maybe it work as a corrector before my concealer! But the creasing worries me :-/

In my opinion, I don’t feel it corrects anything. For me the benefit is the SPF. I like the fact that you can also apply it to your eyelid but there are also other sun protestants that you can apply to the entire eye area. Well, if you do purchase it, please give us your review. Just a side note do check out Colorscience lip/cheek stick with Spf 50. I have the peach shade & use it when I’m out for a long walk in sunny Florida.

I wish more eye cream had built in SPF! I surely will! The peach shade grabbed my eye and I did buy it even though the reviews are mixed ;-D

I love this. I have light skin and use the light shade. It has a peachy tint which is great for my blueish circles. I find it moisturizing and comfortable. I wish it came in a squeeze tube as I use a brush. Unfortunately I find it creases and sinks into lines, the Sisley does neither. I probably wont repurchase as I can use Colorscience mineral SPF 50 around my eyes without a problem, its makeup and concealer friendly.
