Buying Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch Concealer Was a No Brainer
Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch Concealer ($29) launched today in 29 shades and it’s one of the most exciting concealer releases since Tarte Shape Tape hit the market. This new lightweight, creamy concealer has a host of amazing benefits! Will it live up to them all? We can hope so.
This is formulated with a light, creamy consistency that promises to blur with brightening and correcting benefits as well as a second-skin finish. The coverage is medium to full and instantly brightens with a light-reflecting, soft focus that has crease-free coverage that won’t sink into lines or cake under eyes. It contains glycerin for moisture as well as amino acids which apparently help the concealer to adhere to the skin.
I just ordered two shades from Ulta.com and I’m eager to try the formula out for myself. I’m quite happy with Tarte Shape Tape as it’s always served me well but I can be tempted by any and all new concealer releases as I am ever always a concealer junkie.
I haven’t tried an ABH concealer in years! I think the last one I tried was in a pot! I will say I always get wary of concealers that promise medium to full coverage because typically they end up being a lot sheerer than one hopes.
Interestingly, ABH fails to reveal the actual finish of Magic Touch Concealer aside from “natural” and “second-skin”. Hmmm! Is it matte? Demi-matte? They choose not to identify that in their description which I found intriguing.
One thing I am hopeful for is that this doesn’t turn into a contouring concealer versus an undereye one! I think too many concealers try to be both lately. I just want something that works great under my eyes and provides the same or better coverage than Tarte Shape Tape but I have yet to discover anything better to compete with it.
Perhaps Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch Concealer will be it.
