Beauty Things I Brought But Didn’t Need

Hello friends!

It’s been a long Summer hasn’t it? I blame it on the fact that we haven’t been force fed Fall early in June and we aren’t already on to the Holidays. These slow rolling seasonal releases are really making the days and the season seem longer and I’m going to go ahead and say that I don’t hate it.

The slower pace of releases really makes the days and the months seem so much longer.

Of course, that doesn’t mean I didn’t get into some trouble the past several weeks because after all this time of being a beauty lover I can still be very tempted to indulge!

Here’s some beauty things I brought these past few weeks that I didn’t really need but totally wanted.

Nudestix Dark Romantics Magnetic Eye Pencil Set $55
We’ve already established I’m an utter h0r for Nudestix sets! This one contains six shades five of which are matte. The fact that most of them are matte totally made it a must pick up for me!

Shades include:
Magnetic Matte Eye Color Pencil in Terra (matte terra cotta), Cocoa (matte rich brown), Hot Stone (matte cool greige), Shady Algae (matte deep smoky green), Oh! Bergine (matte cool eggplant)
Magnetic Luminous Eye Color Pencil in Sugar Baby (luminous crystal)

Beauty Blender Bounce Liquid Whip Cream Blush $22
And nothing a single regret was had when I purchased the new Beauty Blender cream blush! Totally didn’t need it but the cream to powder formula is divine! It blends easily and doesn’t slip around my face at all! Love it for Summer looks!

amika Power Hour Curl Refreshing Spray $25
Got this a few days ago and didn’t need it because I don’t need anymore hair care at the moment but loving this so much I’m not regretting the purchase! It freshens up my curls, hydrates them, and leaves me with bounce sans frizz!

Natasha Denona Mini Xenon Eyeshadow Palette $25
Did I need it? No! Did I want it? Yes! I don’t really do smoky eyes lately but I just had to have this new mini from Natasha! I’m convinced that it’ll be perfect for my Lady Dimitrescu look!

Tarte Maneater Temptation Eyeshadow Wardrobe $39
Totally didn’t need it, totally got it. I love the shades in this Maneater palette and I’ve been using it quite often since getting it. So, yeah, I prob have dupes somewhere but it’s making me happy none the less!

Banila Co Miss Flower & Mr. Honey Ampoule $52
I have A LOT of skincare to currently get through and I promised myself to avoid purchasing more until I use up what I have but I can never say no to a hydrating ampoule and this one from Banila Co is divine! I have a feeling it’s going to be my bestie for Winter!

Kiko Fruit Explosion Watermelon Pearly Lipstick $14
I have a hard time resisting Kiko’s seasonal collections and lately I’ve been really good about it but these new lipsticks caught my eye! I got one in Wild Raspberry and I’ve been wearing it with a simple glow-y cheek and bare eye (but long lashes) and it looks incredible! It brightens up my entire complexion!

Covergirl Trunaked Eyeshadow Palette Desert Heat $12.99
I happen to be a massive fan of the slurry-like consistency of the Trunaked Eyeshadow Palettes. It’s very creamy and easy to blend and apply. They released Desert Heat with their Summer 2021 Collection and I honestly sat here for a good many weeks debating if I needed it as I have so many shades like it in my stash! Sadly, I didn’t win the battle and it now happily resides in my stash and I’m not sure I regret it at all!

Ariana Grande God Is A Woman Eau de Parfum
I DID NOT NEED THIS! Oh my gosh I could have waited for a sale as it smells like some other sent from Ari that I already own but I hauled it anyway because the sweet, fruity, floral notes just tickled my nose the right way! I’m so weak!

Smashbox Always On Cream Shadow Squad $22
Me knowing damn well the blacker than black Harley Quinn shade isn’t something I’ll use often. Also me, “I want it because Harley!” Sigh! First world class problems for makeup lovers!

Lano Bronze Gold 101 Ointment Balm & Tint $16.95
I’m loving this beautiful golden tan shade for Summer lips! I know, I know I already own plenty of lip balms but what’s one more?

Wet n Wild Nerd Alert Face Duo $6.99
As a nerd and a long time Screech fan girl I had to have this cute warm coral blush and bronzer!

    This is the second Ariana Grande perfume I bought and they do smell similar but I love it! We were walking in the mall the other day and a girl was on her phone and turned around to tell us how good we smelled! Lol!

    I like your list!

    My list is more like, �here�s why I haven�t bought any makeup yet:� I�m just waiting on Jones Road to have a restock of the face pencils I want (of course around that time the eyeshadows I want will be out of stock�). Besame and Mischo�s lack of nail polish swatches has held me back from buying anything from either of them. I like 19/99 cosmetics but I just want them to introduce one more color I *really* want. And Cosmetics a la Carte and English Mineral Makeup and Sunnies Face and Glossier and Finding Ferdinand and and and� I�m a bowl of wishes and indecision.

    The colors in that Nudestix set are fantastic. I wish I liked the formula better, because I�d probably buy one, then a second for backup!

    For my purchases� I blind-bought Ellis Brooklyn Bee (will be great for fall) and a few of the Bobbi Brown crushed shine jelly sticks (Cranberry is gorgeous).

    I also wound up picking up one of the Charlotte Tilbury Look of Love palettes. The all-in-one palettes are hit or miss for me, but this one (Glowing) is phenomenal.

    I bought a few things from the Wet n Wild x Saved by the Bell collection but I skipped the Screech palette because it looked too deep for me. But, I bought the other two face duos, the Kelly lip set and the mascara. I haven’t used any of them yet.

    YES to the new Nudestix Dark Romantics shadow set. Mine is on the way! I am a sucker for nudestix sets myself!
    I Soooo didnt need it but I literally cant wait until it arrives.

    Re: the Colorescience �concealer� bet you hate it. I got the light and it�s matte, pale, and weird. I got the tint de soleil, too. Surprisingly pigmented. And pale. And matte. I know I�m not getting the point across. This goes way beyond me being stupida and getting the wrong color. They�re flat. Almost dead look. Wow, tomorrow I�m going to use the Hourglass Mood Light primer with the tint de Soleil over it and go scare some people in the grocery store!
