How Much Time Do I Have To Spend Wondering If I Can Pull Off the Natasha Denona Mini Xenon Eyeshadow Palette With this Supernatural T-Shirt?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Natasha Denona Mini Xenon Eyeshadow Palette arrives today with its cheap as day old chips price of $25 and I popped it into my cart only later realizing after I checked out I probably can’t do that vampy, sultry, smoky look anymore. As my eyes continue to age I’ve noticed that they appear a bit hollow and tired when I wear really dark eyeshadows and this bad boy is dark! Dark as my cold dead heart, dark as the night as it falls over Massacre Rim in Nevada, dark as the Grinch’s soul when he stole Christmas….yeah, well, you get the point.

The palette serves up strong, vampy Fall aesthetics with five smoky shades in:

  • Blackest Black (deep black)
  • Gloom (medium dark grey)
  • Chromatic (platinum silver)
  • Mist (light gray)
  • Puff (off white)

It’s different and fresh for Natasha as she does so favor her nudes or her vibrant shades. This is her first true smoky palette and it’s a bold one for sure.

Serious talk, can I rock a strong smoky eye with my Sam Curious T-Shirt? Or do I need a much more dramatic outfit for the Natasha Denona Mini Xenon Eyeshadow Palette? Black corset maybe with a side of black glitter converse? Both exist in my wardrobe ;-D

What do you think of the wickedly dark and sexy new Natasha Denona Mini Xenon Eyeshadow Palette?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I like it! It seems like a long overdue departure from her standard neutrals. Im excited.

Also, I think you could TOTALLY rock it with that shirt. Throw the look up on Instagram! ??

Oh oh oh! You can TOTALLY pull off a smokey sultry eye. I wanna see Muse do it! 😛

I am super excited about this lil’ palette. Way back in my early makeup days I use to do black and silver smokey eyes with the L’oreal HIP eyeshadow duos. Um is this a more mature and sophisticated version of that? I’d like to think so. 🙂

I am TORN. My elder-goth heart wants it (that silver!) and the rest of me has 117 versions of all these colors and no room for more palettes. Anyway do a look with the t-shirt and see!

I’m more of a “smudge a matte along my lash line” than an actual “eyeliner” gal and that looks perfect for it. It will be stunning on you Muse!

Im extremely warm toned. Therefore, this palette is a hard pass for me even if the price is right. Except when wearing a costume, cool grey/black eyeshadows look downright scary and weird on me. Last time I wore black and grey shadows/eyeliner, I dressed up as a goth for a Sociology project at high school and went to eat at a family restaurant. Because my skin is extremely warm toned, I have to use a brown based grey shadow/eyeliner to rock a smoky eye. None of these shadows are brown based. Im sure this palette will look bomb on some people, but Im just not gonna be one of them.

That is one of the saddest parts about getting old(er), in some cases the less makeup you wear, the better. I look at my massive eyeshadow hoard (mostly unused) and feel like Carrie in SATC when she couldn’t buy her apartment because she had spent all her money on shoes. But Muse, you are not even close to old and I am sure you could pull this off!
