The Fragrance Deals at Ulta Today are Insane and By the Way, Why Did The I Smell Pretty Movement Never Come About?
I once tried to make an I Smell Pretty movement on Instagram and it failed miserably…! I swear I was wanted everyone to just sit around with me, sing Kumbaya, post pictures of the perfume they were wearing that day or their fragrance collection and hashtag it #ISmellPretty. It sort of started as a joke between my friend Justin and I as we always used to hashtag our conversations online with #ISmellPretty when we discussed any fragrance and suddenly I was like, “OH HELL I need to get the Internet in on this too!”
But seriously, my numbers never translate on social media. I have millions of people who subscribe to my newsletter and visit the website daily but none of what I do here translates very well across social platforms because of the damn algo.
