Clinique Cheek Pop Pearl Blush Promises Luminosity for Fall

Clinique Cheek Pop Pearl is a new line of blushes in the Cheek Pop Collection available in six shade selections with a new radiant finish. I’m a long-time fan and lover of the original Cheek Pop Blushes just as many of you are and I think I can speak for all of us that we’ve long since wanted a more luminous finish in these gorgeous blushes. I’m not sure if I was expecting this as a Fall 2021 launch as they do feel very Spring 2022-like in my eyes but hey, I never say no to radiant blushes so bring them on.

Apparently, the finish is that of a lit-from-within glow with pearlescent pigments that reflect light for a soft, shimmery effect.

Shades include:

  • Coral Pop
  • Garnet Pop
  • Ruby Pop
  • Topaz Pop
  • Rose Quartz Pop

The new formula contains a moisturizing base of squalene and glycerin that promises a seamless, second-skin finish that wears for ten hours. The swatches Clinique has on the website are a little flat looking which makes me really want to see these in person before indulging but needless to say I think they’ll likely be a big yay desperate the bad promotional images.

I do wonder if Cheek Pop Pearl will replace the original formula since Clinique no longer carries them on their website and they were on sale all through Summer. That being said most major retailers like Sephora and Ulta do carry them. It’s one of those things that make you go hmmmmmm….!?

Clinique Cheek Pop Pearl Blush is available now.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The original colours are slowly disappearing from other sites, like Sephora, as they run out of stock.

I commented this on Temptalia earlier, but the promo images look different from actual swatches I’ve seen on the Japanese channels. They’re pretty, but definitely different from what we’re seeing here. Im hoping they havent discontinued the original range because Pansy pop is one of my everyday colours. I am trying not to buy backups just in case it’ll still be around, but what if it won’t? LOL!

That is a long time favorite blush. I got backups of my favorite shades when they were half off. The promo pictures are spring-like, but yes radiant blushes can be used any time of year.

More weird stuff today. For these, The photoshop on dark skin is a disgrace and a BFL (big fat lie.). This seems such a light-medium collection and the older line really did cover the bases. The Pop products were what put Clinique back in the running. As an additional Collection fine-ish, but dont d/c the older, matter shades.

Hi Muse! Can’t wait to check these out! Do you have any idea what’s going on with Clinique eyeshadows? Many of them are sold out–and have been for a long time. Are they revamping or maybe discontinuing?? Heard any rumors?

I hope the old blushes aren’t being discontinued. I love them but it takes me a while to go through them (especially if I’m rotating with other blushes) and with the masks, I haven’t been wearing blush much the last year or two until recently.
