Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Shine On Lipstick Makes Me Unusually Happy

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Shine On Lipstick ($23) today for Fall 2021 in 12 gorgeous shades. Rouge Artist Shine On Lipstick is a pigmented, satin-shine lipstick that contains hyaluronic acid to smooth and plump the appearance of lips.

I was instantly on it when I saw them say shine. I love good shiny lipstick. My love of shiny lipstick stems too many years collecting Japanese lipsticks which tend to lean towards shiny finishes. They are always so crazy lightweight and once applied they look like you applied a light layer of clear gloss to them! I love this finish! I have dry lips so shiny and moisturizing is always in style for me!

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Shine On Lipstick captured me at the shine and made me unusually happy because why in the world am I this excited about shiny lipstick? I’m just glad that Fall 2021 isn’t bringing the typical round-up of matte lipsticks that I dislike so much!

I did hesitate every so slightly though when I read satin-shine. Hmmm! What does that mean? I’m curious enough to try! The price is right so I hauled Free Rosewood which is a beautiful warm rose. I’m equally intrigued by the packaging because I do so love a good slimline lipstick! It looks like the applicator is ideal for fitting the contour of our lip line quite perfectly.

Apparently, this formula is long-wearing with a 12-hour promise and a formula that contains hyaluronic acid as well as red cranberries that give lips a smoother appearance.

The formula of a lipstick with the shine of a gloss sells me on Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Shine On Lipstick.

I’ll share more details on this formula soon as I get my order.

Has anyone tried these?

Long wearing and shine seem contradictory. Also dk what satin shine means. Interested in your opinion.
