I’m Not Scared to Express My Feelings About Sephora’s Year End Sale and Black Friday Sale
Sephora’s Year-End Sales Event that gets you 20% off already reduced Holiday Gift Sets and makeup items has started damn early this year. Typically this sale happens the on Boxing Day aka December 26th the day after Christmas but this year Sephora rolled it out on December 20th.
I was surprised they decided to do it so early. The sale lasts until January 1st which has me hopeful it’ll get better because right now it sucks as badly as Sephora Black Friday 2021. There’s a few interesting deals like the NARS Unwrapped Mini Eyeshadow Palettes but overall, much of what is available is a lot of items that were already in the sale section, to begin with. Although, I will say items that popped up did surprise me like the Mugler Alien Fusion Eau de Parfum!
I think Sephora’s Year End Sale is looking kind of sucky at the moment. I know for a fact I was disappointed with the Sephora Black Friday (Cyber Monday was much better) offerings! I want to say the Sale on Sale action is a let down because a lot of stuff sold out but that’s simply not the case. Many gift sets are still very much in stock and avaialbe!
I do have a theroy though!
I suspect Sephora wants our Holiday monies for sure which is why they started the sale early this year. I think they’re holding out on us a little bit though! I suspect either late on Christmas Day or early Boxing Day morning we’ll see a lot more items get added to the sale section! When you think about it, it’s actually a fantastic sales tactic to introduce the sale early and getting people spending only to roll out more items and get people spending for a second round of sale items.
