I Played With the Idea of Buying 5.28 oz Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer
I know it has alcohol in it but Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer has a spot on my Ride or Die list. Don’t get me wrong E.L.F. Jelly Pop Primer is up there with Hydro Grip Primer and a hell of a lot cheaper but I def reach for my Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer often and I played with the idea of buying a 5.28 bottle of it.
But really now, do I need that much?
Super size me!
Sadly, Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer contains alcohol which can cause dryness and break down collagen in the skin but I’ll readily admit, I use this primer anyway. It has a gel formula that absorbs quickly but leaves skin lightly tacky which allows foundation a better grip and a smoother finish. I feel like my foundation looks fresher and stays fresher longer when I use this. I experience the same from E.L.F. Jelly Pop Primer as well as their Cool Mint Melt Primer!
They recently introduced a 5.28 oz bottle and I was thinking to myself, “Do I need a huge bottle of this?” Probably not but I played with the idea for a little bit. That’s a hell of a lot of primer to get through and since I rotate my primers a bit I’m not sure I really need nearly 6 ounces of this stuff no matter how much I love it.
I will say it’s a hell of a deal at $65. The original size is $34 at 1.52 oz and you’re getting nearly triple the amount at double the size. That’s definitely a great deal but unless you’re completely loyal to Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer you might not need to spend that much on a huge bottle of it.
For those curious, who haven’t tried it yet they still offer the 0.33 oz for $17. It’s a rather nice little introduction to this formula.
What do you think about this huge size?
Think you’ll get through it?
