Bliss Pro Liquid Exfoliant Combines Three Different Exfoliants Into One Formula To Either Burn Your Face Off Or Brighten It

Bliss Pro Liquid Exfoliant ($20) is a new wash-off 11.8% AHA, BHA, PHA formula that acts to resurface the skin as it brightens, smooths, and clarifies skin. Scared? Yeah, me too. The idea of combining now one but three different exfoliants into one formula sounds terrifying but not impossible.

Bliss was all, “Screw this! We’re going to just make a formula to address all skin types in one formula!” I’ve never technically had to combine exfoliants to combat different skincare concerns. As a dry skin girl living a pore-free life, I rely on AHA which is typically in the form of lactic acid, glycolic acid, or sometimes citric acid. AHAs are also made up of molecules that love water and they can improve the skin’s moisture levels.

If you are combining exfoliants you typically do so by separating them into your day and night routine but never combining them all into a single routine. But Bliss, Bliss really went there. They just threw it all together into their new 11.8% AHA, BHA, and PHA Liquid Exfoliant. Glossier Solution is one such product that also takes on combining all three formulations of exfoliants into one product!

Bliss has vastly improved their line of skincare lately. I’ve been impressed with some of their offerings lately but Drench & Quench 4 Hyaluronic Acids + Amino Acids All-Day Moisture Serum was the item that really sealed the deal for me. It’s fantastic. That’s why I’m putting trust in this new Bliss Pro Liquid Exfoliant.

I admit the idea of three acids formulations in one is a little scary but I’m willing to jump in here for the sake of science and beauty. The AHA part of this formula comes in the form of Glycolic Acid which acts to remove dead skin cells and brighten up your complexion. The BHA part is salicylic acid which clarifies and tightens pores, and the gentle PHA portion is gluconolactone. Gluconolactone is actually a superstar of an ingredient that not only exfoliates but also draws water to the skin and acts to hydrate.

The thing that sets Bliss Pro Liquid Exfoliant apart from Glossier’s formula is the fact that it has a higher level of acids at 11.8% versus Glossier’s formula at 10%. But also, this formula is not meant to be left on the skin whereas Glossier’s version is. Bliss recommends sweeping this on and washing it off after two minutes.

Is it going to burn your face off? Likely not. I realize the idea of three acid formulas in one sounds scary but my bets are it’ll be fairly gentle and beneficial if you stick with it. I haven’t tried it yet but Bliss was kind enough to send a PR package over with it and I’ll test it out and let you know what I think in a few weeks. Most Tiktoker’s have tried it for a week and report all these incredible results but I need a lot more time to decide if it is or isn’t working.

Stay tuned!

Formerly oily and aging, now wtf. Cosrx aha/bha toner is .1%. I think that the Bliss is far too harsh. Kind of like the Ordinary niacinamide zinc (that berry colored fire pit, at any rate ) burns like a prolonged bomb. Like the scrubber of skincare. NF way.

LMAO! I am at my WTF skin type too. Did you try? My skin is like an alligator because I felt nothing with this at all. 11.8% is a pretty high concentrate but lactic acid is like water imho mixed with the gluconolactone makes for a lighter formula or am I nuts? I swear we’ve turned into a world that aims to compromise our skin’s natural barrier just for the sake of saying “Look Mom! I’m smooth!”

Oh, f no. I know better than to use it. Scream and run into the 40 degree ocean. Sure, screw with the mid layers, so you have to stock up on barrier creams like Balancium and alternate w/a Klair’s blue product. Gluconolactone is good to look for. Liking the tower 28 SOS. It’s hypochlorous acid, but major mild. Read it up. Simple explanation is on Sephora. It can sterilize a mask, too. Excellent if you wear fashion masks.

Didn’t burn , but didn’t do anything at all, it was like putting water in my face .
