Holy House of Sillage The Batman Bow Case Lipstick Batman!

Hello, my name is Isabella and my super power is knowing every line from the 1960’s Batman TV Series.
Growing up I had the great pleasure of watching Batman reruns on TV after school. I remember racing home everyday and sitting in front of the TV at around 4 o’clock to watch Batman and Robin fight some new awesome villain daily. I remember when I saw the Batman TV Series movie for the first time. That shark scene was the height of action packed awesomeness in my youth. Batman almost lost a leg you guys! Holy Sardine! THANK GOD THERE WAS SHARK REPELLENT BAT SPRAY AVAILABLE!
I’m pretty sure my crush on Robin was solid at this point but him climbing down to hand over the Shark Repellent Bat Spray really drove it home. I loved this man. He was going to be the father of my children one day. We were going to buy a house with a white picket fence. He was going to fight villains everyday along side Batman and come home to me after work everyday, barefoot, pregnant, and cooking him dinner on our state of the art stove.
I seriously did have this major crush on Burt Ward (pretty sure Frank Zappa wrote Boy Wonder, I Love You for me but that’s merely speculation!) He and this kid Max that was several grades ahead of me in school were my first real crushes. Burt Ward was just a vibe. He had that wholesome good boy look. He was hot. No one is going to tell me different.
In all seriousness, that was pretty much how my love affair with Batman started (and comics in general!). So yeah, throwing cash on a House of Sillage The Batman Bow Case Lipstick somehow makes logical sense in my brain today.

I mean, it has to come live beside my House of Sillage Wonder Woman Collection right? House of Sillage’s love affair with all us freaks and geeks continues with this latest launch. Anyone know how long this contract with DC Comics will last because I could potentially go broke if they keep releasing fragrances and makeup collections featuring my favorite DC Comics heroes and heroines.
Sillage The Batman Bow Case Lipstick looks like a pretty vampy shade much like Clinique Black Honey. Apparently, it contains diamond powder but I imagine it’ll be a subtle shimmer you get from it. Their lipsticks are actually quite lovely with a melt-y moisturizing formula and plenty of shine that mimics that of a Japanese lipstick formula.
The case is the real star here. It’s a gorgeous black lacquer with diamond accents and of course, a diamond bat logo as well as “The Batman” printed on the top of the bow case. It comes with its own case for safe travel. Sadly, at a whopping $295 it is not refillable which makes this a hard one to swallow but as a collector, it might intrigue some people. I managed to get my Wonder Woman Collection on sale during the Holidays. Let’s hope the Batman one goes on sale as well because at $295 it’s a crazy indulgence for a lipstick that can’t be refilled.
Pre-order it now at Saks!
