5 stars out of 5

Kayali Eden Juicy Apple | 01 is a fairly new, playful, vibrant apple and berry perfume that launched a few months ago and turned into an immediate purchase for me. I have all the Kayali fragrances and although there’s some conflict about the price and whether or not the fragrances are truly niche I personally like them a lot (the Sephora Spring Savings Event starts this week so the price will be a little better if you’re Rouge).

Wondering if Eden Juicy Apple is as tasty as that first bite of sin? Actually no. If you’re expecting some seductive, sultry scent to tempt you over to the dark side this isn’t it! I admit when I first read the notes I instantly knew there was no sin here. If anything there’s more innocence and sweetness here! Sadly, the gateway to your fall from grace won’t be found in Kayali’s Eden Juicy Apple Perfume.

I’ll tell you what it does remind me of. Sex and candy…

As in Marcy’s Playground Sex and Candy…

“And then there she was
Like double cherry pie
Yeah there she was
Like disco superfly
I smell sex and candy”

It’s the type of scent that makes you think of the 90s and high school and boys and bubble gum and a trip to Claire’s to get a second hole in your ear. It smells like youth, innocence, candy apples, and sweetness. It smells like all things girly.

That probably makes it sound terribly immature but those are the memories this scent evokes. I promise though, there’s a lot sexy here covered in oozing sweetness that will give you a toothache. When it warms up on your skin it gives off this incredible hard apple candy vibe that makes you think of the crush of bodies on a dance floor in the dark. It’s playful and sweet but with the temptation of sin and the attitude of innocence. There’s also the feeling it evokes of walking down an apple orchard on a bright, sunny Fall day. Indian Summer when the days are super hot but the nights cooler. The warmth from the sun makes the apples scent the air with a juicy red fragrance.

It reminds me a bit of Bath and Body Works In the Stars but with way more of a crunchy red apple vibe. There’s such a beautiful twang of apple wrapped up in juicy red berries when you spray it. It bursts with sweetness and you can literally taste a red apple in your mouth. That first taste, the burst of juices on your tongue, the slight tartness followed by that sweet crunch. It smells like a juicy red apple that’s with the perfect crunch drenched in juicy sweetness. As it settles onto your skin some of the other notes come out to play…a bit of raspberry, a hint of jasmine, a little rose… All the notes combine to create this sugary, crystallized candy apple sweetness that lingers on and on and on…

All through the day, I can smell this lingering on my skin. It’s like sucking a big old red lollipop and getting the taste of sugar on your tongue all through the day! The scent just lingers in the air, on your body, and clothes and smells like sexy apple candy that might tempt someone to bite your neck.

Delicious.

This is so well blended and an absolute must for fans of sweet, fruity gourmands. It’s perfection. I’m so glad I purchased a larger bottle.

I’m giving a Muse Approval.

A keeper in the Kayali fragrance family.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
