Chanel Tweed Fall 2022 Launches and No One Was Like, Surprised Ever

You may be bracing for Spring 2022 but I yearn for Fall and the news of the Chanel Fall 2022 is all I got right now to make they wait a little easier on my heavy heart. Yesterday, the Grand Palais Éphémère got treated to all tweed all day as Chanel launched their Fall 2022 Ready to Wear Collection. Beautiful earthy browns shot through with pale green and pops of pink brought to mind those cool Fall days I so desperately yearn for at the moment.

I know, I know, some of you may be thinking how uneventful and dare I say, boring, this collection is. But I find I can’t hate on tweed! At least they are sticking to the what’s old is new again mentality and not copying everyone else’s Fall 2022 Collection. Isn’t tweed why we love Chanel? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? It’s a bloody Chanel institution isn’t it?

And as exciting as a beautiful pink tweed jacket is I think my mind and heart just yearn for a bunch of new Les Tissages de Chanel Tweed Blushes in oranges and corals intertwined with gold. I shudder in delight thinking about it.

So hate, hate away on the tweeds my dear friends but remember, tweed means good things for the Chanel Fall 2022 Makeup Collection.

Or so I hope….!

I laughed out loud with, “and like no one was surprised ever”. It’s Chanel! I expect tweed!

  • Glenda

Chanel took tweed out of the old aristocratic hunting lodges, expanded the color palette, and made high fashion. They can bring it back in perpetuity.

I like Chanel’s tweed. Isn’t that what they’re most known for? LOL! I saw a glimpse of the new tweed eyeshadows (at least I think it was tweed) and man are they pretty! I don’t buy a lot of Chanel eyeshadows anymore, but if the upcoming quads are as nice as they look in photos, I will be picking some up for sure.

And you’re not alone. I long for fall and winter, but not because of tweed. LOL! I hate heat and the sun. Ironic, considering I live in California…

hells yes! 🙂 I love the tweeds! It’s not only classic Chanel, it’s a tradition at this point! I don’t buy much Chanel anymore either but sometimes they do capture my eye! Like that new peach blush, snagged that up! Loves it! I yearn for Fall/Winter too and I’m like you hate the sun and heat. It’s what prevents me from moving closer to you! 🙂

I second that emotion on longing for fall and winter, hating heat and sun, and the irony of it all because I live in Florida.

      • Christina

Glenda, we can both be miserable together! LOL! At least I have some respite come winter where it does get pretty cold (I grew up in Canada and know what true cold is). Does it even get cold in Florida? I don’t think I could handle both the heat and extreme humidity.

I live in the northern part and we get a few days of cool in the 50s, and some 20s -30s overnight, but it varies so much. I’ve had to have the heat on in the morning and switch to AC later the same day and vice versa. The humidity in summer is awful; sometimes it feels like you can drink the air.
I also used to live in Canada but it was on the west coast so while we had a nice fall/winter, it was never bitterly cold.

There is no such thing as too much Tweed! And as look out my window at my driveway filled with the second snow storm of the week I am still ready for summer to come and go so I can get right to FALL!

    • Isabella Muse

You’re my mind of people Dee! 🙂 Same here. We had sleet and a bunch of snow. I just need to go through Summer so I can slide into Fall soon after 😀

During this time with all the issues that are going on in the world we need to try and keep our priorities in order. I am very sorry for your friend, but whatever the need is God is taking care of it. God is in control. We have to place all our cares upon Him and know Gods plan isn’t always our plan. Pray without ceasing. I will be praying for your friend and God will intercede.
