Three Hyaluronic Acids I Recommend Purchasing

Hyaluronic Acid has really taken the beauty world by storm in the last two years. It’s pretty much in every single skincare product you come across nowadays and for good reason as it truly is a superstar ingredient.

Hyaluronic acid help increase skin moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by acting like a magnet and drawing moisture to the skin. I’ve been obsessed with a variety of Hyaluronic Acids over the years, particularly Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion which is not only my ride or die but also, by far, the best Hyaluronic Acid I’ve ever tried. But, of course, like a true beauty junkie I cheat on my favorites which means I have a constant rotation of different Hyaluronic Acid potions in my stash.

Here are three Hyaluronic Acids I highly recommend grabbing.

Youth to the People Triple Peptide + Cactus Hydrating + Firming Oasis Serum $54
Youth to the People is probably one of my fav skincare lines of the moment and when I heard they were introducing a HA serum I was all about grabbing it. I’ve been using this for several months and absolutely adore it. This incredibly blended formula contains peptide-infused, hyaluronic-acid and can be used not only on your face but also, under your eyes. I use it on damp skin after my morning shower as the first step in my skincare. I feel like it creates that smooth, bouncy skin that I seek plus the finer lines under my eyes look refreshed and rested after a drop of this. It also, helps my skin retain moisture which results in a smoother makeup appearance.

Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum $42
Glow Recipe is sadly, not a great skin collection for my drier skin. This is definitely a suitable line for someone younger and oilier than I am but I have a lot of love for Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer. This is def one you want to be sure to use on damp skin as it tends to leave skin feeling very tight if you use it on drier skin. Applied correctly you’ll immediately notice the skin is more hydrated, bouncy, and brighter looking courtesy of the way this draws moisture into dry, dehydrated skin. This is a keeper for sure!

Bliss Drench & Quench 4 Hyaluronic Acids + Amino Acids All-Day Moisture Serum $27
Well, wow, a HA serum that actually works on clean, dry skin! This one you can apply on dry skin without fear of that dreaded tight feeling. This is LOADED with a crazy amount of HA! Just look at the ingredients and be thrilled by the fact it contains Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, and Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate plus amino acids to keep skin hydrated, bright, and happy. A true star in the word of HA serums!

What’s your favorite Hyaluronic Acid serum?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Nothing compares to the orange top HLG HA with the five molecular weights of HA. At first I thought BS, but skins all have different processes to absorb the HA. So 5 molecular weights doesn’t seem so BS-y after all.

Currently I am in love with the Inkey List HA serum. It has seriously improved the smoothness of my skin. Plus it is so inexpensive to purchase.
