3 Cleansing Balms Recommendations To Haul During the Sephora Sales Event

The Sephora Sales Event starts for BI on April 5th! Rogue can continue to save 20% off and BI can save 15% with code SAVESPRING. I thought I’d haul out and recommend three of my favorite cleansing balms at the moment. I have these weird moments with cleansing balm and cleansing oils! At the moment I’m in cleansing balm mode and just gave up on my cleaning oils! It’s the first step in my cleanse. In a few months, I can see myself switching back to oils but at the moment balms are just what I’ve been using.

Which are you using? Balms or oils?

And I know, I know…Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm isn’t actually on this list but I feel like I rave it so much you’re probably exhausted of me pimping it out!

Here are three of my favorite cleaning balms at the moment.

Youth To The People Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm
I originally purchased this when it first came out, grabbed it again during the last Sephora sale, and just about hitting the bottom of the jar again now! Heads up! It’s not your typical cleansing balm. This is very thick and doesn’t emulsify quickly. It reminds me of Lush Ultrabland which is an absolute fav product of mine so that’s probably why I like this. I use a smaller amount than I normally would and I work it into my skin for a few minutes, massaging, and working it down so it melts. It’s not a texture that everyone is going to love but if you like Ultrabland I can see it easily becoming a favorite. It takes a little work but once worked into skin it really deep cleans and removes all your makeup leaving skin very soft and hydrated.

Wishful Clean Genie Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm
Not a traditional cleansing balm in the least! Has a very soft, creamy consistency. I LOVE this stuff and swear by it. It’s soft, it applies so smoothly, removes my makeup easily, and it rinses clean away leaving my skin very soft. It’s a delightful texture. I always stock up on it when it goes on sale. Totally a keeper!

Paula’s Choice Omega + Complex Cleansing Balm
My ride or die…! This actually trumps Farmacy’s formula for me. If I had to live with one cleansing balm for the rest of my life this would be it. It has a fantastic texture that’s a hybrid balm slash cream! It removes ALL makeup easily and doesn’t strip my skin or leave it dry. ADORE this stuff. Highly recommended.

Did you haul any cleansing products during the sale?

All balms get in my eyes and sting. Oils, whether commercial or grapeseed, are less alarming in the eyes. I use the Purito green level. I hated it at first; thought it was draggy. Used half a pump more and Yay.
