Here’s 3 Things I Am Absolutely Buying from Sephora
Good Morning! Happy Tuesday! Question for you! What’s on your most wanted beauty list at the moment? Mine is rather small thankfully but I know of at least 3 things I am absolutely buying from Sephora very shortly and no, I’m not waiting for a sale to haul these items.
Can you guess what they are?
Ok, so the reviews are in and I didn’t think I’d be interested at all considering some of my past experiences with Haus Labs but I will be purchasing two shades of Bio-Radiant Gel-Powder Highlighter. These are hands down the item I want most from the collection. As you know, Haus Labs recently reinvented itself and went more mainstream by launching at Sephora. Why this didn’t happen when the brand originally launched I couldn’t tell you! I never understood why Haus Labs got to Amazon first. It was so weird. Even before they had a website the brand launched randomly on Amazon. I think it was even during Prime Day as I recall. Very strange….!
After that, the website came along and that was it. You had two options for purchase! Directly or via Amazon nothing else! It was all rather weird! The products left a rather meh feeling on my tongue and I just didn’t find myself interested at all after trying out a few items. The only collection I did love was the Casa Gaga Collection! The Tutti Gel-Powder All Over Rouge was a divine blusher! Everything Haus is actually on sale at amazon.com for 50% off or more since the re-launch at Sephora.
I’m not much of a highlighter fan but some of the shades of the Bio-Radiant Gel-Powder Highlighter are being hailed as great blush shades. The two shades I want are Fire Opal which looks like a gorgeous orange coral (it reminds me a bit of NARS Orgasm) and Rose Quartz which is a stunning pink! I think I can safely blind buy these two online as I saw swatches and they pop! I’m eager to get my hands on them! Anyone else?
Ok, so, next on my list, and a big yes, is Tarte Tartelette Tubing Mascara! I go hard for Lights, Camera, Lashes (it’s on sale at ulta.com if you need to stock up). It’s my ride-or-die mascara! But you know, I was like, hey, let me give Tarte a chance and try something new. I like tubing mascaras so why not?
This formula promises long-wear while lengthening and adding volume to lashes. Honestly, tubing mascaras are great for both which makes me hopeful the formula rocks. Tarte does some solid mascara formulas so I have faith in them that this will be good! It’s available at both Sephora and Ulta. I was actually thinking of ordering it from Ulta since they have a prestige coupon floating around!
Last on my wish list is Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Luminous Matte Buildable Coverage Crease Proof Concealer! I’m probably alone with this but I thought The Overachiever High Coverage Concealer was pretty cool. It was super creamy and blended beautifully! Great pigment too! I think they went more serum-like with this new concealer!
This formula is a matte yet creamy formula with flex technology that promises crease-free wear that moves with you! I’m a concealer junkie so I feel it’s mandatory I give this a try! Anyone try it or want to?
