Welcome to Summer! Kind of. The weather is slowly starting to warm up in Gotham and I’m here for it and I’m also here for the NARS Orgasm On the Beach Cheek Palette! This is absolutely the Summer Blush Palette you need for glowing cheeks on a warm day or night.
I love this palette. LOVE. It’s one of my favorite NARS Palettes. I happen to be a very big fan of Orgasm and this takes that shade and surrounds it with other complementary shades that are simply stunning worn together or individually.

This palette launched last Summer and comes housed in a gorgeous rose gold mirrored compact. If beautifully packaged makeup is your kink you’ll adore this. It has a nice weight to it, a full-size mirror inside, and it just looks elegant and beautiful. Inside you’ll find, of course, find the cult classic NARS Orgasm Blush along with five other shades inspired by it. It’s a very well thought out palette as far as shades go as each shade wears beautifully it its own but most importantly the shades pair up well together.

This isn’t the original powder Orgasm you know and love. These blushes are a pressed gel powder formula giving them a smoother appearance with a less powdery kick-up than you’d experience from the original formula. The gel formula has a gorgeous sheen as well versus the over-the-top shimmer that so many people complain about from the original Orgasm. It applies incredibly smooth as well as the blush just melts into your skin and doesn’t lay on top of it the way powders are known to do. It’s a very seamless, gorgeous color with an incredible glow. I used a fiber brush to apply and buff the color out with denser blush. The color wears all day not to mention it retains its glow very well throughout that wear.
Oh and the colors….the colors are just so beautiful! Above I’m wearing Montezuma with Turtle Bay and a tiny bit of Zuma mixed in! I also used a little bit of Mandalay to contour and add a touch of warmth to my face. I absolutely adore Turtle Bay and wish it was available as a single shade! They call it a golden peach but I personally feel like it’s an orange-y peach! It’s so pretty and has the most gorgeous glow. Trust me the swatches don’t do it justice!
