5 stars out of 5

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Sea & Sol Hair & Body Fragrance Mist is one of three new, limited edition Summer 2022 scents that were introduced late last week. I’m so sad to say that these are selling out quickly! I hope they bring them back to last out the Summer at the very least. Already the Tropical Nights Perfume Mist is gone from both Sephora and Sol de Janeiro’s website. I’m glad I got the set of three but my Tropical Nights spilled in the box (I have half a bottle left which I will review shortly). They were kind enough to refund me but sadly, I wanted a replacement only to be informed that it was sold out. They were very nice and gave me a 15% off coupon plus refunded my money!

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Sea & Sol Hair & Body Fragrance Mist is the fruity floral of the three scents with notes of Juicy Citrus, Pink Pepper, and Ocean Musk.

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Sea & Sol Hair & Body Fragrance Mist is 3.3 oz in size and $20. I do wish the brand would start doing these LE releases in larger sizes! Also, a matching body cream would be nice since their mists tend to fade fast and cream would make it last longer.

I’m not sure what I expected from this scent but I was thinking fruit and aquatic notes just wouldn’t mix well. The initial scent is a big bite of zesty, sweet citrus! It’s fruity, fresh, and energizing. AS it dries down you’ll get a slight salty aquatic note that’s very fresh and pleasant. As it settles and dries down pink pepper wraps itself around the citrus and aquatic notes and a warm musk settles over the entire blend. It gets very, very cozy and warm on the dry down on my skin. The longer I wear it the more I felt it became a bit of a gourmand versus a fruity floral. That musk really creates a lovely snuggly scent that clings beautifully to my skin. It’ll be a gorgeous fragrance to wear on a warm, Summer night.

It’s not my favorite of the three scents but it’s lovely nonetheless. As with all Sol de Janerio products it does wear a short time but the bottle is small enough should you wish to carry it around for touch-ups! I think it’ll work great layered with Bum Bum Cream!

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Sea & Sol Hair & Body Fragrance Mist is available now!
