5 stars out of 5

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Tan Lines Hair & Body Fragrance Mist is one of three new, limited edition fragrances that released for Summer 2022 that contains notes of Solar Tuberose, Leite de Coco, and Creamy Vanilla.

The brand describes this one as a creamy floral that evokes the spirit of sand, sun, and tan lines! I purchased it with the other two new scents immediately as I am a huge fan of anything that Sol de Janeiro does. I just think (aside from Coco Cabana) all the scents they do are unique and delicious.

Here’s my review and thoughts on Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Tan Lines.

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Tan Lines Hair & Body Fragrance is a bit of a shapeshifter for me. I’m pretty sad it’s only available 3.3 oz in size as I’d totally buy this in a larger size and if they had a body cream you can sign me up for that.

It’s the quintessential beach scent! Whereas the original Brazilian Crush Cheirosa ’62 is a warm tropical cake melting in your hand type of fragrance you’ll get more of a beachy tanning oil vibe from this new Tan Lines fragrance.

The initial spray is all you’ll get a light powdery Tuberose but quickly after you’ll catch coconut and vanilla which to my nose smells like very light tanning oil. This doesn’t go full out Banana Boat but it’s more light tanning oil scent that smells like the beach or a day at the pool.

What’s interesting about the scent is the fact it’s a bit of a shapeshifter on my skin. I get straight-up tanning oil for the first hour or so of wear but as it settles down further I notice that I’m starting to catch a bit of the tropicalness from Brazilian Crush Cheirosa ’62 in the background! It’s very interesting that it morphs that way. I tried it alone and by combining it with Brazilian Bum Bum Body Cream. Sadly, Sol de Janeiro didn’t release body creams to go with these new scents but I thought that the original Bum Bum Cream scent goes quite wonderfully with this. You get a bit of tropical cake and beachiness altogether when wearing the two together. It’s a heady and intoxicating blend.

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Tan Lines Hair & Body Fragrance Mist isn’t my favorite of the three new scents but it’s a keeper for sure!

Loved this!

Sadly, as with all the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Hair & Body Fragrance Mists it doesn’t last terribly long on me. But it’s small enough to tote around with you should you wish to touch up through the day!

Sounds pretty good! Muse have you tried the tree hut shave oil in the beach or tropical scent!? It was new to me last time I ordered so I blind bought it and it really surprised me; it’s very oud forward. I like it a lot.
