Ancient Cosmetics Made Me a Believer In Body Oils

I purchased a few Ancient Cosmetics Body Oils and guess what? I went back for more. I’m suddenly a body oil convert after trying these. Please Sir, can I have some more? Dude…seriously, I am not a body oil girl by any means possible! Hell, I don’t even like some Bath and Body Works Body Lotions because they are either too sticky or too greasy. Imagine me going around slathered in body oil?

But that’s exactly what I’ve been doing lately.

Ancient Cosmetics made me a believer in body oils!

I hauled a few of these recently on a whim and I just went back for my second order within a few days of ordering my first batch. First off, they are awesome as far as shipping goes. I ordered on Thursday and I got my order on Saturday. I blinked and it had arrived. Secondly, they obviously put a lot of love into the products. After was packaged carefully with cute, colorful labels.

I took a chance here and ordered four rather large bottles but the fragrances just grabbed me and demanded I buy them! I got Pineapple, Caramel Butterscotch, Strawberry Shortcake, and Birthday Cake. I wasn’t sure what to expect and I really did think I wasted some money because I’m just not a body oil type of girl. But I got the order, smelled it all as immediately, and fell in love before even trying them on my skin! These smell amazing! Strawberry Shortcake is so lifelike! It’s yummy strawberry mixed with delicious cream! Pineapple is just as wonderful and I’ve bene pairing it up with the pineapple mist I recently got in my Philosophy Body Spritz Trio!

The oils are currently on sale for $10 each and 6 oz in size. They are formulated with Safflower Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E Oil, as well as fragrance. Yeah, so, all that oil made me nervous. But I was determined to love these since they smelled so good and guess what? I didn’t have to try to hard I’m actually addicted now.

I use these after my shower when my skin is still wet. I just drizzle some on, massage it in, and dry myself off! The oil is very light and absorbs easily into my skin. Can I tell you my legs and arms never looked so good? I’m prone to dry skin and this helped ease my itchy, dryness so much! My skin has a nice sheen to it as well! I didn’t feel like this formula left me feeling overly greasy! It absorbs so quickly and leaves behind a beautiful sheen on my skin.

And can we talk about how super scented these are? They smell so great and the scent lingers on and on! Not to mention you can layer your favorite perfume or body mist on them and you’ll find that your fragrance will last longer.

I’m sold. I’m not a body oil believer.

I hope Ancient Cosmetics does some Fall scents because I’ll be all over them!

        so my ancient cosmetics order arrived but i haven’t had time to open the box! i did get the b&bw cinnamin donut and didn’t care for that…there is a scent in there that is turning me off. will donate to my sis!

    Muse made me do it! I placed an order last night as I’m a sucker for dessert scented body care. I think I almost got one of everything, oil, scrub, polish, butter, spray, and whipped soap.
    Let’s see how it goes.

    Muse made me do it, too, and I AM OBSESSED!! This is the best brand of body care I think I’ve ever used. I too got the polish, scrub, whipped soap, body oils, and everything but the kitchen sink. I live in the CA desert where it’s hotter than hell’s kitchen and my skin takes a beating from the sun, wind, sand, chlorine, etc. but this makes everything all better. Thank you, Muse!

    Girl, I love love love AC, I fell n love 3 yrs ago and had to break up with them because I was so addicted and had more products that works last over a yr, but that only lasted about 9 months, cuz I just placed 2 orders this month. Proud that this is a #BlackOwnedBusiness. They have products for men and kids too. Their soaps and scrubs are to die for as well. They are my major body care brand and my skin absolutely ” absorbs” it. Not to mention they now have handsoaps and they always have a sale. Glad you ladies love the products #SpreadTheWord

    I bought quite alot, about $200 worth…was clicking so fast, I accidently purchased it, reached out to the company to see if I could cancel the order with a refund, this is within an hr of doing this, someone reaches back out to me that same day, I tell him what happened and he assures me that he will cancel the order and refund me, well INSTEAD they do a express order, I email and I say “my last order didn’t come this fast”…reach BACK out, I’m told that I can return the items, I ask if I’m supposed to pay for the shipping. 3 weeks later, no reply back, texted the # that had texted me…3 weeks later, no reply.
    This was going to be gifts for other people in order to bring in MORE customers.
    After this experience I will NEVER buy from them again, and not to mention that some of the boxes was ruined and coming out the pack, bad representation, horrible.
