Anihana Shower Steamers are my guilty pleasure and yes, I know they are somewhat expensive but sometimes you just need to spoil yourself! Remember when Lush used to have to Shower Bath Bombs? Well, technically they still do but a version you can actually sud up with now whereas Anihana Shower Steamers are an aromatherapy type experience.

Anihana Shower Steamers are basically a bath bomb for your shower. Some people don’t really love baths and bath bombs sound appealing to them but they aren’t really in love with the idea of taking a bath. I personally love baths and just sitting in one until I prune up! I actually don’t take a bath to get clean! I never feel clean taking a bath, to be honest. Maybe I’m weird…! But taking a bath for me is more about relaxing versus getting clean! Showers are my jam! But after a long day at work or a self-care day baths are the way to go.

But we can’t always make times for baths or we just don’t like taking them and sadly, that means we’re missing out on the joys of a bath bomb! But never fear, Anihana Shower Steamers are here. These are actually the same concept as a bath bomb in the fact they fizz and foam up when water hits them but the main difference is you aren’t submerging yourself in a bathtub to enjoy them. All you do is start your shower up, get it, toss one of these little steamers under the running water as you shower and you’ll be enveloped in a delicious scent. No, they aren’t cleaning your body, they aren’t even touching you, it’s a pure aromatherapy type experience but I can’t say I don’t love it.

I’m a particularly big fan of the bright citrusy scent of the orange and grapefruit one but the peppermint and eucalyptus ones are great for stuffy noses! They really have a nice, strong scent that envelopes you in the shower. Be sure to put them towards the back of your shower and out of the main spray otherwise they melt away faster. I can’t promise they’ll last through your entire shower but they do offer a nice treat yo’ self experience while they are in there.

Are they a waste? Possibly. Depends on what your level of self-care is. I take a little joy from them. It’s not something I use daily at $2.99 each but I’ll toss one in when I’m doing a Self-Care Day! It’s just a little treat that makes my shower feel a bit more fun!

Oo thanks for the tip I am going to look for these. The old lush shower steamers really packed a punch. I tried another off brand and it was weak but I would like to try these.
