I Have Never Purchased So Many Backups Of a Bath and Body Works Scent In My Life
I’m the proud owner of ten bottles of Bath and Body Works Cinnamon Donut Swirl Body Lotion and Shower Gel. And if there was a Cinnamon Donut Swirl Fragrance Mist I’d probably be the proud owner of ten bottles of that too.
I cannot believe Bath & Body Works gifted us with this gorgeous, delicious, yummy gourmand and didn’t give us a matching Fragrance Mist with it. I am beyond pissed about that.
If you haven’t already RUN don’t walk RUN and order some of this online or if you’re lucky maybe your local store has a few in stock. This was exclusive to the Semi-Annual Sale and it’s divine. I sometimes think they throw around these scents during the sale to test them out and see how they sell!
I originally purchased a single body lotion and it was early on in sale. I believe at that point it was priced at $5 or $6 bucks. Obviously, as the sale progresses the prices begin to drop and this finally dropped down to $3 and still is that online. I hauled several more body lotions and shower gels at that point because it was only $3 bucks but also, I had a 20% off coupon and that helped me save even more.
I normally don’t purchase Bath and Body Works Shower Gels. Typically, I go for the fragrance mists and although I find them sticky, I do buy matching body lotions or creams. I don’t buy the shower gels because we know I have a really bad shower gel addiction and buying Bath and Body Works Shower Gels isn’t a wormhole I’ve been willing to fall into until now.
I realize, from what I read on Reddit and other Bath and Body Works forums that Cinnamon Swirl Donut isn’t a fan favorite but I’ll take a case please, and thank you. I’m in love with this scent. It isn’t quite the same as the candle but it is close. It’s a very warm, comforting donut scent that feels very unisex! It’s cozy and warming and just beautiful! The notes just blend so well together with a warm, fluffy donut note, sweet cinnamon and sugar, and just a touch of brown sugar. I love it. And I think the best part is the lotion actually wears long and hard all day.
I did read on Instagram someone had found a mist that matches this but I think maybe that was false information as I never saw a mist pop up anywhere! I’d have loved a matching mist! My theory is the cinnamon might be a skin irritant and that’s why they didn’t do a matching mist. I did start pairing it up with Al-Rehab Choco Musk (this scent sort of smells like a Waffle Cone) and the two together is absolute magic!
I absolutely love how gourmand Bath and Body Works has been lately. Valentine’s Day is a big one for Bath and Body Works and the introduction of pastry or sweet scents! I hope Valentine’s Day 2023 brings us more scents like this one or maybe even sooner for Fall 2022.
This is a keeper! I hope they bring it back next year but just in case I made sure to stock up.
