Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale Is Now Open To Everyone But Do You Need Anything From It? Maybe!

I really didn’t do much coverage on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this yet because there was really nothing of interest I felt any of you truly needed. Believe me, if there was something awesome I’d have told you about it but this year it’s just a bust as it’s been for the past several years. The sale is simply not as good as it once was and the new Tier Rewards are awesome since they open the sale to really high spenders and by the time they get down to those who either don’t spend a lot at Nordy’s OR don’t have a Nordstrom Credit Card everything good has long since disappeared.

I would indulge in the Simple Human 8-Inch Sensor Mirror. It’s $150 (normally $200) and ships free. It’s one gadget I recommend time and time again because it’s an incredible mirror and I absolutely love it.

Another great deal is the Delina Eau de Parfum Set. Delina is one of Parfums de Marly’s best fragrances in my opinion! A beautiful, long-wearing, jammy, sweet rose! It’s gorgeous. The set is a great value!

I can’t say there aren’t some nice deals on purses, shoes, sneakers, and more because there are! It’s just the beauty options are somewhat yawned! But it doesn’t come as any great surprise as we’ve all had the talk time and time again about, “How the Anniversary Sale just isn’t what it used to be!”

If you want to shop the sale it’s now open to the public!

Enjoy!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The few items I wanted the most (mostly clothing, but also that Le Labo perfume trio) were sold out long before the sale opened to the general population today, so I’m feeling pretty sour on the whole thing this year. I’ll probably wait a few days to see if anything comes back in stock before deciding if I’m going to buy anything. I am tempted by that SH mirror, because the one I bought 5 years ago stopped working, but we’ll see…

Yeah. Every since they started doing to Tier Rewards stuff sucks! Did you contact them? They are pretty good with trouble shooting!

I got most of what I wanted except some boots that were sold out before my tier opened. Hoping they restock. As far as beauty, I just got the microfoliant set Paula’s Choice.

Would you believe I just got the DK deo trio? I just wasn’t into anything else. It’s rather sad 🙁

I absolutely agree about the “I already have that, or I don’t really need that.” type of Anniversary Sale, regarding Beauty, and even some of the other items, like accessories. I literally didn’t buy anything. I did buy a pair of sneakers – full price, as I was trying to find a pair that was either Price Matched or on sale via the Anniversary Sale, and there really weren’t that many for walking from the brands that I like or know will fit me well; especially for travel. I ended up paying full boat, but at least I knew they would fit properly, last a long time, and were from a brand I know to be of good quality.

I was disappointed that many of the larger known beauty brands either offered sub par “Exclusives” or didn’t have anything to offer at all. It was over all a dissapointment.
