Hempz Apple Cinnamon Shortbread Body Moisturizer Smells Like a Glade Plug-In and I Don’t Hate That
Hempz Apple Cinnamon Shortbread Herbal Body Moisturizer is a limited edition scent released with the Pumpkin Spice & Vanilla Chai Body Moisturizer I recently reviewed for Fall 2022.
Ok, so, full disclosure, this smells like a Glade Plug-In or even a room spray and I don’t hate that at all. Judge me if you must be I do not mind the generic apple cinnamon scent that this thing got going on.
Hempz Apple Cinnamon Shortbread Body Moisturizer is available in two sizes. You can snatch up the larger 17 oz for $25 bucks or the smaller 2.25 oz for $7.50. I got the larger bottle during the 10 X point event at Ulta. I also used a $3.50 coupon code at the time I believe.
This is a nice, lightweight body lotion that isn’t sticky, tacky, or greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin. It’s very light but it packs a nice punch in the fragrance department. This is straight-up apple cinnamon! I don’t get a shortbread note at all! Honestly, I wish there was a buttery cookie note going on here as that would make the scent rather unique. Unfortunately, it’s all crisp red apples with tons of cinnamon! It’s rather yummy, very strong, and lingers all damn day! Wow!
That being said, I’ll readily admit it sort of smells like a room spray or a Glade Fall Plug-In! And hey, I don’t hate that because it smells just like Fall all day long! It pairs up great with apple or pumpkin scents or anything that has a cinnamon or sugar note.
If your aim is to smell like Fall I’d happily recommend Hempz Apple Cinnamon Shortbread Body Moisturizer!
