Urban Decay She-Hulk Collection Isn’t Exactly Green

Urban Decay has teamed yet again with Marvel Studios for another makeup collection. This time we’re getting the Urban Decay She-Hulk Collection that features an Urban Decay She-Hulk Eyeshadow Palette with 13 shades and a smaller a mini Urban Decay x She-Hulk Eyeshadow Palette with six shades that’s ideal for travel.

Sadly, the Urban Decay x She-Hulk Collection isn’t bringing us much else but more importantly, it isn’t bringing us much green.

So, I happen to love green eyeshadow! It’s a really flatter eyeshadow shade for my big brown eyes. This new collection is inspired by the upcoming Disney+ Show “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” and of course, we think She-Hulk we think green yes?

From the promo images, the mini doesn’t even have a single shade of green and the larger palette has two shades of green. Ok, so, let’s give Urban Decay the benefit of the doubt here! Maybe the marketing on these new palettes is making certain shades look different from what they actually are. I doubt it but let’s hope that’s the case.

As per the marketing, the shades are inspired by the show and are meant to represent the character’s attempt to balance her career as a lawyer and her Hulk powers. I guess her work life is dominating her Hulk life as per these shades because there are a lot of warmer coopers and browns with an odd pop of blue and a few cranberry shades. Obviously, the Hulk doesn’t have the upper hand in this collection but we’ll have to wait and see if this turns out better than it looks.

But I can say for sure that so far I’m disappointed.

The Urban Decay She-Hulk larger palette will be $45 and the mini palette will be $30 both will be available at urbandecay.com starting August 24th.

Pretty sure these will hit the sale rack pretty quickly but I look forward to being proven wrong!
