What’s the One Beauty Purchase You Want But Can’t Justify At The Moment?

Do you have beauty items on your wish list that you really but can’t justify at the moment? Perhaps it’s because you already have an eye cream and that new eye cream looks really, really good but you can’t justify buying a new one when you haven’t even seen results from the old one. Maybe it’s a new blush but why is it $30!?

What’s that one beauty purchase whispering in your ear to “come over to the dark side and purchase me” right now?

Mine is Dr Jart Premium BB Tinted Moisturizer with Niacinamide and SPF 40. I love the original Dr Jart BB Cream. Well actually, I’m a fan of Dr Jart’s old Beauty Balm BB Cream that launched within the US around 2011! And I actually currently have one in my BB Cream line up! The idea of buying another one is appealing but really a big unnesscary purchase.

The new one does sound awful good though. It has all the benefits of the old formula with a natural finish that conceals and hydrates but this new formula also contains niacinamide to brighten up skin. I have to admit I was surprised to see they lowered the sunscreen level on this formula from 45 to 40. But I tend to wear SPF under BB Creams anyway which makes this not too big an issue.

Do I need this? Not at all. It’s replacing the older formula with a slightly newer upgrade and a higher price tag.

My logical side says no on it and I really can’t justify purchasing it just for a single ingredient upgrade.

I’m good!

What can’t just justify right now? And why?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Any eye or blush palette from Pat McGrath. They are gorgeous to look at and love them all. I cannot justify the price because I have so many palettes that I don’t wear that often . Blush is something I don’t know use often either. Sigh. I still want them. Lol

The new Pat McGrath palette. I don’t even wear makeup anymore bc I’ve been working from home, but it just looks so darn pretty and sparkly!

A Pat McGrath palette. Too expensive, and I have so many palettes already.

Palettes. Huda New Nudes or Rose Rose Quartz. Or ND Pastel or Big Retro. No one who got a hearing aid this week needs a new palette. And 2 new glasses. Rec trying Warby Parker, esp if there’s a store, but having had Ray Bans for 30 years, not sure the WPs will be sturdy enough.

The Chanel tweed eyeshadow palettes that are coming for fall. A regular Chanel Les Ombres quad is already a splurge at $62. These four quads will sell for $88(!) each. I wanted two of the 4, but not at that price.
