Bread Elastic Bounce Leave-in Conditioning Styler Hair Cream is a lightweight styling cream that provides soft hold for wavy, curly, or coily hair types and it’s my latest hair obsession. I love it. No, I LOVE it. That’s better. I’m really late to the Bread Beauty Supply world and I can’t believe I’ve been missing out and sleeping on this brand. Everything I’ve tried so far has been wonderful but I have two complaints. Number 1. I want more products! Give me shampoo, give me conditioners, I need MORE! Number 2. I need your products to be available in body care (they have a body oil but that’s it). Give me body lotions, body mists, give me more stuff scented like your beautiful hair care!

I just want and need more! I’m obsessed.

Ok, so hauled a rather massive, huge jar of Bread Elastic Bounce Leave-in Conditioning Styler Hair Cream on a whim! This is 8.4 oz in size but the jar is so huge and so heavy it feels like I’ll be using this for the next fifty years of my life. It’s packaged really nicely but I will say it can get a little messy around the rim if you aren’t careful when scooping it out. I use a small skincare spoon to take the amount I need out! At $28 it isn’t too badly priced. They do have a smaller 1.69 oz size if you want to test the waters before diving in fully which is $16.

I’ve been purchasing style creams in the last two or so years in the hope they’ll pause my gel addiction. Gel is something I reach for far too often and it really leaves my hair weighed down. It also causes a bit of breakage. I wanted to start trying styling creams in the hope they’d be more gentle and Bread Elastic Bounce Leave-in Conditioning Styler Hair Cream is one of two I absolutely adore at the moment.

If you have wavy hair or curls I’d highly recommend this. It’s especially nice if you tend to slick your hair back a lot and want it out of your face as this is great stuff for giving a shiny, slicked-back look without looking greasy or stiff. It provides a much softer hold than gel and has a very lightweight consistency that absorbs into hair leaving in feel soft. I typically apply it to my wet hair after a shower and allow it to air dry.

If I’m wearing my hair up and pushed into a bun I use it to slick back my hair! If I’m wearing my hair down and want more definition to my curls with some hold I’ll apply it on my wet hair, comb it through, and gently scrunch up my hair. I don’t have issues with it being too heavy and I feel like it adds moisture in shine without weighing my hair down or creating a greasy or wet look.

I know I feel less compelled to clarify my hair as often as I used to when using gel as gel causes way more build-up. And did I mention the scent? Oh my god, it smells so good! Bread says it’s scented like a berry popsicle but I think it sort of smells like mixed berry bubblegum or grape bubblegum! It’s a scent that lingers and creates this pretty scent bubble.

For all my wavy-haired girls and guys (or anyone with curly or even dry hair) I’d totally recommend Bread Elastic Bounce Leave-in Conditioning Styler Hair Cream! I’m obsessed with it.
