Tarte Shape Tape Cream Foundation Is Yet Another Foundation Release from the Brand

Tarte Shape Tape Cream Foundation is a new solid gel foundation infused with licorice root and mushroom extract as well as hydrating hyaluronic acid. This skin smoothing formula has the coverage of a foundation with the texture of a face cream that melts into the skin leaving it smooth and flawless.

I always want to love cream compact foundations as they seem perfect for my drier skin but sadly, they are always such a nightmare. They accentuate flaws I didn’t even know I had and end up making me look incredibly made up. They also adhere to drier areas on my face which isn’t a good look for me. Just look what happened with the KVD Good Apple Skin-Perfecting Hydrating Foundation Balm. Hundreds of people on Tiktok were raving that formula but it was a hot, horrifying mess. I’m not really sure who looks good in cream foundations like this but please if they work for you let me know! I’d be curious what the prep work is to make them look amazing!

But hey, that isn’t to say Tarte Shape Tape Cream Foundation isn’t awesome. Maybe it’ll surprise me as lately Tarte has hade me pretty happy with their foundation releases. Tarte Shape Tape Cloud CC Cream was a hit for me. That being said jeez, Tarte, how many foundations do you release in a year? Is it me or do they do like two to three foundation releases per season? It’s crazy. And they are really riding that Shape Tape high lately aren’t they? Because every single foundation is called “Shape Tape” something.

If you’re hyped to try out Tarte Shape Tape Cream Foundation it’s available first at qvc.com. It comes with full-size Shape Tape Cream Foundation Brush and your choice of shades in the Shape Tape Cream Foundation formula for $45 with free shipping!

Let me know what you think of this new formula!

Muse, I so feel you on this one. I so badly want to find a cream compact foundation that works on my dry skin too. Like you, the couple that I’ve tried have been awful on me. Why is that?? Why are they so bad on our dry skin? And they’re supposed to be moisturizing and so on. My theory is that whatever is in the formula that makes them maintain their solid consistency is the culprit. But what the hell do I know! Are you going to give this one a go?

dude seriously. I don’t get it. You’d think it would be a dream for dry skin but it really makes me look old! No way LOL I’m skipping on this one! I’ve had way too many crappy experiences with balm foundations ;-D How about you?

Shape Tape is the Orgasm of Tarte. I know better. this would be worse on me than on you and Deb.
