I purchased the new NARS The Multiple in Orgasm Rush which is part of the NARS Spring 2023 Collection. Funny story, last Summer I realized I ran out of the NARS Orgasm Multiple and I suddenly had to go on a mission across the Dead Marshes to locate one. I simply couldn’t find one anywhere. It was sold out everywhere. NARS has been sold out of a lot of stuff lately and it really made me worry about their future but they did make an announcement about how they are perfectly fine just having supply issues due to the pandemic. I don’t even know why I wanted it so badly. I think I saw a Tiktok of someone wearing it and suddenly I wanted to start wearing it for Summer even though I had Orgasm Powder Blush something inside me demanded getting the cream stick formula.

I never did find it and just recently repurchased it as NARS has finally restocked it and released it in new limited edition packaging for Spring 2023 along with a brand new shade called Orgasm Rush. As an Orgasm fan I immediately purchased both.

NARS Orgasm Rush The Multiple is a new shade available in a limited edition pale pink barrel. I’m not sure if the shade is also a limited edition but I’m assuming perhaps it might be unless they plan to release it in the standard black packaging once Spring is over. It’s 0.5 oz in size and $39 in price.

Orgasm Rush is described as a rosy bronze. This is a very warm russet rose. I want to say it almost looks coppery when I apply it. It does have a very fine gold shimmer but nothing like Orgasm and it’s really not visible on my cheeks or face. If you’re headed away for Spring break this will definitely compliment a tan but if you’re a naturally pale or fair girl it might not work well. This one is def meant for the medium or darker tones out there. I’m a light-medium with a peachy undertone and applied sheerly it is flattering.

This comes in a twist-up barrel for easy application. You can apply it directly by swiping onto the cheeks or you can use a fiber brush like MAC’s 187. The texture is thin and creamier but felt dry to me. I struggled a little blending it well. It felt like it pulled a little across my cheeks causing a bit of patchiness. I tried both with my fingers and a brush and each time experienced the same strange almost gritty dryness. I finally just blended it out using a sponge using a patting motion. It’s very pigmented and builds easily. It wore on me for around five hours before it showed some signs of fading. My skin tends to eat up cream blushes.

As per the name it does have “multiple” uses as you can use it on your face, eyes, or lips. I personally, don’t like using these on my lips as I’ve always felt they were incredibly dry! They do work on eyes but they tend to sheer out considerably when I applied on my eyes. I prefer using it as a blush and a blush only.

I’m not entirely in love with the NARS Orgasm Rush The Multiple but I did also, purchase the Orgasm Four Play Blush Quad that was released with this collection. That palette has a powder version of Orgasm Rush in it which has me hoping the powder version will serve me better. I want to try pairing up the cream and powder as well and see what sort of look I can get from it.

NARS Orgasm Rush The Multiple is available now.

Where to buy

Ulta

NARS Orgasm Rush The Multiple is a creamy multi-use stick that can be used on eyes, face, or cheeks. Orgasm Rush is a new shade which is a russet rose shade that pulls very, very warm and should be flattering on a warmer or tanned skin tone. It’s $39 and 0.5 oz in size. I felt it was very pigmented and worked best on my cheeks as I find the texture drying on lips and a bit too sheer on my eyes. It did feel a bit patchy on the blend as the formula has a gritty almost dry texture that made it pull across my cheeks in a less-than-smooth way. I ended up using a sponge to gently dab into place for a nice, smooth finish.

Pros

  • Pigmented.
  • Will really pop on medium and tanned tones.
  • Unique shade.

Cons

  • Texture feels a bit dry and gritty.
  • Blends a bit patchy.

Who

NARS Orgasm Rush The Multiple might be a tempting purchase for Spring breakers hoping for a tan or naturally tanned or medium tones.

Love your content. Is this at all similar to the discontinued 413 Blkr Multiple?

thank you Heli! A little bit but less red and more bronze rose! Not an exact dupe sadly!
