Afterpay’s Most Purchased Beauty Items Why Is Lip Oil Not Number One?
Afterpay released their most purchased beauty items for March and how is lip oil not number one? I swear lip oil is thee it girl of Tiktok! Everywhere I look someone is promoting lip oil! In particular, the Dior Lip Oil Amazon Dupe is a popular one that people force-feed you across Tiktok! Before you ask, no, sadly, I haven’t tried it! We could probably all afford to do so though because it’s only like eight bucks! Why not right?
That being said, Lip Oil is up there! It’s one of the top three beauty products purchased in March. What are the other ten?

Coming in at number one is liquid blush! Interesting! But makes sense considering Spring breakers are all about lightweight makeup! But also, I guess we need to blame Selena right? Personally, I’m all about the dewy fabulousness of Hard Candy Selfie Cheek Tint (Review and Swatches) or Kaja Jelly Charm Glazed Lip Stain & Blushes! I’m also all about those EM Color Drops Serum Blushes!
The second up is skin-firming moisturizers! Ok, we’re all getting there now I guess but also, since COVID a lot of beauty lovers have dropped full-on makeup and started taking care of their skin a lot more. Personally, I love my HA. Anything with HA is in my cart. That’s my favorite way to plump up my skin. I haven’t really found a perfect moisturizer that firms but HA works just as great to make my skin look juicy and plump! My personal favs are Glow Recipe Plum Plump Serum and Moisturizer as well as some good old fashion French Ialuset!
Number 3 is lip oil! And as I said, I’m shocked it isn’t up there at number one! I’d blame Selena again but her lip oils launched after March!
Next up at number four, we have foundation! Hey, this means we’re finally coming out of our little COVID hobbit holes and returning to the land of the living! My personal fav is ErborianCC Crème at the moment. Yeah, I know, it’s not really foundation but I absolutely adore how lightweight and brightening this formula is!
At number five we have brow pencils! Benefit really has its moment in the sun when it comes to brow anything lately! Perhaps that’s why brow pencils are coming up at number five on this list!
Number six is my personal favorite! Perfume! I blame Tiktok for this too as there are some amazing creators on the app that really know their stuff about fragrance! My scent of the moment is the Maison Alhambra Cherie Tom Ford dupe! Ugh! Love it! Let me bath in this stuff!
Up at number seven are bronzer sticks which I’m actually confused about. Aren’t we done with the contouring trend yet? It feels very 2016.
