These Are My Two Favorite Products For Juicy, Plump, Dewy Skin BUT……

Is anyone a fan of the Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer and The Dewy Serum Resurfacing and Plumping Treatment? Both are pretty expensive but gods, I love them. I tend to haul the Dewy Serum and Dewy Skin Cream 2-Piece Kit or the Dewy Serum Plumping and Renewing Treatment Duo from QVC to save a bit of money!

I’m really into dewy, plump, juicy skin lately. If you’re on Tiktok you probably saw the advert for L’Oreal’s Paris 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum where an influencer is all, “This will make you look like a glazed donut” Yeah, I totally get it now. I desire the glazed donut look please and thank you! Granted, I’m not walking out of the house looking all dewy fresh but I don’t mind going to bed like that and waking up with the smoothest skin ever (Btw try the Futurewise system! It’s life changing when it comes to smooth skin).

Tatcha definitely excels at dewy with these two and no, I wouldn’t use in the day now that’s in Summer but they are so amazing in the Winter when my skin is dry and tight. A little goes a very long way with each of these but I’ll admit I have overdone things when I use it at night and just overapply to get really hydrated skin! The Dewy Serum in particular makes skin look incredibly plump and juicy. I love them both so damn much when used together BUT…

Dude, I must be getting old or too sensitive but I legit can’t stand the smell of Tatcha’s products lately. I seriously WISH AND PRAY AND HOPE they release these in a fragrance-free version. Don’t get me wrong, I think Tatcha’s products smell really nice. They have that spa-like fresh scent that’s actually really pretty. But lately, I feel like my nose hates that. For some reason the scent feels a bit cloying to me. In my older age, I really understand why people don’t like scented skincare. I’ve always been of the mentality that scented skincare just added to the luxury of it and created a spoil me sort of ambience when applying it. But nowadays, I feel like fragrances are a bit too heavy and I feel like some even break my skin out a bit (like my chin gets these small little crops of whiteheads) and my skin isn’t known for breakouts!

I really wish Tatcha would go fragrance-free with some of their products especially this particular line as I adore it! How are you with fragrance lately? Do you still like it or are you more sensitive to it and wish all skincare was fragrance-free?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Definitely am more sensitive to strong fragrance as I get older. It’s really hard to find a fragrance free shampoo that still cleans well. I think I’ve suddenly become sensitive to fragrance and it’s irritating my scalp. I really wish more companies would offer fragrance free products but their marketing depts are probably telling them that fragrance sells.

right? It’s so weird. I don’t mind haircare but anything involving skincare is a no for me lately!

I’ve always be a fragrance free girl! Lately it seems that everything has fragrance and non scented items are getting harder to find. Fragrance free deodorant is few and far between.

I gotta admit I love perfume and I’m ok (so far) with haircare and deo, etc…but skincare with fragrance just irritates me lately!
