Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss is on sale this week during the Ulta National Lipstick 2023 Sale and I thought I’d do a little review with swatches and just let you see what these look like on my lips (they’re also on sale at macys.com). I’m a huge fan of this formula and I have quite a few of the shades but the ones I featured in this post are two of my favorite nude shades. There are two versions of the formula one of which contains shimmer! I actually haven’t tried the shimmer version but I love the regular, shimmer-free formula! And also, don’t get the Crush Lip Color Lipstick is on sale as well! Totally worth scoring both these beautiful formulas during this sale.

Let’s take a look at the Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss!

Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss are a non-sticky lipgloss that contains Hyaluronic Acid and and coffee seed oil. They come housed in a square barrel and have a sponge tip applicator for application. As with most “lip oils” these aren’t really a lip oil at all but more of a melted down lip balm with a balmy consistency. I remember back in the day Almay Liquid Lip Balms were all the rage. I didn’t really like them at the time but this formula is a lot like that one however, they are way more comfortable to wear.

I’d like the formula to a melted down lip balm. They have a thick consistency that spreads easily on lips and builds up beautifully well. They are incredibly hydrating, super smooth on lips, and have a nice, shiny finish. I love, love, love how they wear down as well. If you look at my recent Instagram picture I’m wearing the shade In the Buff and that’s what it looks like when it’s worn down after four hours. It sort of leaves this pretty balmy color. It isn’t as shine as it was initially but still maintains the beautiful color with a balmy look that appears as if I applied a tinted lip balm of sorts. It makes my lips look supple and soft. I’m prone to dry skin and these leave lasting moisture on my lips. They wear for about five hours but they loose their shine at around hour three and leave color and moisture behind for the next two hours or so. They do have a light citrusy fragrance and flavor that I find very pleasant. As you can see below both are very pigmented as well so these aren’t a lightweight in the color pay off department!

I personally adore these and always pick up a shade or two when they go on sale as they are pretty expensive at retail ($33 versus the sale price of $19). Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss are definately worth a haul if you want shine, color, and plenty of moisture!

Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss are on sale now at Ulta and Macy’s for a limited time!

I love these glosses, too! My favorite shades are New Romantic and Love Letter. I also like the Kir Sugar shimmer gloss — it’s a unique, flattering shade.
