The Only Beauty I’d Recommend Hauling from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has started and it’s disappointing or at least beauty wise it is. I think it’s fairly common knowledge that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale hasn’t been it for a long time now. I remember when they used to have exclusive launches and collections when the sale came around! Heck, even MAC had an entire color collection that would launch during the sale. Nowadays we’re lucky to get one or two gift sets from MAC. It’s somewhat boring the last several years and the beauty department is just a mix of the same gift sets over and over again! For example, I love and totally recommend the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Priming Moisturizer Duo but it’s a set that just appears year after year after year. Why not refresh it and include the base and perhaps the Vitamin Enriched Eye Base too?
I actually didn’t purchase anything beauty from the sale this year but I do know of at least two items that are very much worth a haul. In my opinion, the only beauty I’d recommend hauling from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are these two items.
I absolutely would recommend the OSEA Advanced Eye Care Set. I own this set and absolutely adore it. This contains a full-size Ocean Eyes Age-Defying Eye Serum and a full-size Advanced Repair Eye Cream. The eye serum is lovely but what I really love is the eye cream. It’s incredibly moisturizing and a perfect pick for anyone with drier eyes! The set is $88 but if you were to buy these items individually the value is $126.
Next up we have one of my favorite beauty tools of all time. The Simple Human 8-Inch Sensor Mirror! I love this thing. I have one in my bedroom and one in my bathroom. I use it for makeup and skincare application. It’s well made, lights up automatically when you face it, and charges up quickly. Sadly, it’s not the same sale it used to be which was $120 but it is $140 which is still an incredible deal as the full price is $200. This is a must have for me and the discount is one of the deepest you’ll get (even Black Friday deals aren’t as good). I personally love the Rose Gold but they offer it in Silver as well!
Outside of these two items I really don’t see much else you need to splurge on! A lot of the items on offer will likely go on sale as that seems the norm for Nordstrom Anniversary Sale offerings. They end up getting discounted 30% or more within a month or so after the sale ends.
