4 stars out of 5

Wet n Wild Alice In Wonderland Talking Flowers Lipgloss in Not a Weed is one of three shades of lipgloss that launched with the new limited edition Wet n Wild Alice in Wonderland Makeup Collection! I had no plans to indulge in this collection (even though I love Alice in Wonderland) but I picked this shade up on a whim because it’s such a beautiful reddish orange that’s ideal for Summer looks. It also sort of reminded of Charlotte Tilbury’s Pinkgasm Sunset on my lips (they aren’t dupes but they do look a lot alike on my lips)!

Let’s take a peek!

Wet n Wild Alice In Wonderland Talking Flowers Lipgloss is $8 and 0.11 oz in size. It comes in a clear barrel with a pink cap and features one of the Talking Flowers that Alice encounters on her journey through Wonderland. This shade is called Not a Weed and it’s a beautiful golden orange coral with fine gold shimmer. The shade actually pulls a bit more pink on my lips which is why it reminded me of Charlotte’s Pinkgasm Sunset and as I said above they aren’t actually dupes but do look a lot alike on lips (and hey, Pinkgasm Sunset is sold out so, this is a nice one to grab instead not to mention more affordable!).

The formula is fragrance and flavor-free and has a thicker texture that feels balmy on my lips but not sticky or tacky. It’s not incredibly pigmented but pigmented enough that it leaves lips with a nice bit of tint and a juicy, full look. It wears for four hours on my lips and feels comfortably moisturizing during that time. It also happens to look incredible on top of red or orange lipstick and adds a beautiful pop of shine. It does contain fine gold shimmer and you do get a little twinkle on lips but no worries, it isn’t a disco ball kind of finish.

Wet n Wild Alice In Wonderland Talking Flowers Lipgloss is a cute little pick-up if you want a bit of shine, color, and moisture. This shade is quite lovely and adds a nice pop to lips or over your favorite orange or red lipstick.

Tried it already? What do you think of it?
