I Don’t Like E.L.F. Camo Concealer But I Do Like The E.L.F. Camo Concealer Sponge
We need to stop all the people out there telling us that E.L.F. Cosmetics Camo Concealer is a dupe for Tarte Shape Tape Concealer! I have a really passionate hate for Camo Concealer. It’s awful!
BUT…there’s always a but isn’t there? I actually really like the E.l.F. Camo Concealer Sponge.
I should disclose I’m not a big fan of blending sponges and in particular, I’m not one that uses a sponge for concealer application. But I can’t deny this six buck E.L.F. Camo Concealer Sponge comes in very handy if you use super-pigmented concealer. Yes, it was created for use with the Camo Concealer but since I’m not on Team Camo I use it with my Shape Tape. It’s small and has dual pointed ends that fit quite nicely into the nooks and crannies under your eye. I typically saturate it with water, squeeze it all out, swipe my concealer on, and gently pat the sponge under my eye area. It does a really great job of creating smooth, even coverage under my eyes. I love how it sheers out thicker formulas and allows my concealer to settle under my eyes but not INTO my finer lines. If you struggle with a cakey concealer that settles into your finer lines I do think this goes a long way at making it look smoother and airbrushed.
