Hempz Vanilla Frosted Mountain Herbal Body Moisturizer is a new, limited-edition body cream that launched with the Hempz Holiday 2023 Collection featuring yummy notes of of vanilla, caramel, and vanilla cookie. Of course, being the gourmand girlie that I am I immediately purchased this and regretted it. And no, it wasn’t because it smells awful! It actually smells awesome! Let’s jump ahead for my Hempz Vanilla Frosted Mountain Herbal Body Moisturizer Review!
This isn’t one I’ve seen from Hempz before but please correct me if I’m wrong as they do sometimes bring back scents and who knows maybe it was around a few years ago. As far as I know it’s new. It’s available in a few sizes that range in price from $7.50 to $25 pre-promo code. They also have it in a gift set called the Sugar Rush Duo which also contains a Sugar & Vanilla Bean Herbal Body Moisturizer. It’s a small gift set as each lotion is 2.25 oz in size but still a cute way to experience the set, gift it, or just tuck it into a stocking for a Holiday gift. I got the larger 17 oz size and I don’t regret the purchase and may even snag a second bottle before it disappears as it layers well with a lot of the vanilla gourmand perfumes I’ve accumulated over the years (It smells great with the Dolce & Gabbana Devotion Perfume I just reviewed).
Full disclosure and you can agree or disagree with me but when Hempz does a fragrance it can be hit or miss. Sometimes they create these beautiful scents but there’s a weird undernote that ruins it for me. Thankfully Vanilla Frosted Mountain DOES not have that undernote. It really is sugary warm and spicy cookies in a bottle. I get the vanilla, the caramel, and this beautiful spiciness. I hesitate to say I’m smelling cinnamon as that isn’t what the spice is but there is something very yummy and spicy about that scent that gives it warm, cozy, Christmas-y vibes. It’s definitely sugar cookie but with a spicy twist and no, not a Snickerdoodle, but something else! And no, it doesn’t come across air freshener smelling either! It smells like someone is baking something delicious for Christmas.
It’s a lightweight lotion without being greasy or tacky but still manages to provide a very, very hydrated feel on skin. Their lotions are super rich but they still have a powerful bunch in the hydration department and the scent lingers so beautifully on your skin!
Hempz Vanilla Frosted Mountain Herbal Body Moisturizer might just be backup worthy. It smells delicious and if you love gourmands particularly vanilla ones you’ll adore this!
