What Was Your Last Beauty Haul of 2023? Here’s Mine!

Wanna share your last big beauty haul of 2023 with me? Did you grab a sale item or two or perhaps treated yourself to something extra special before the start of 2024? I did a little treat yo self haul which arrived yesterday.

What did I get?

I got more Dear Dahlia Paradise Shine Eye Sequins. If you know anything at all about me you know I’m obsessed with Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows. Remember the year they were releasing limited-edition shade after shade after shade? I was in heaven. It broke my heart that they sort of stopped creating new shades. At some point I think they’ll disappear completely (I hope that day never comes). I know a lot of people DO not like this formula but I’m a forever fan of it. And yes, they do look as awesome on eyes as the promo image below!

I did find a replacement for it though in the Dear Dahlia Paradise Shine Eye Sequins. My god how I adore this formula. It’s so sparkly and gorgeous. It’s def not for everyone but it’s a win for me. I hauled about six or seven shades as my last haul of 2023 and I don’t regret it one bit. I got them yesterday and I was squealing in delight. They are just so gorgeous. That was my last official makeup and beauty haul of the year.

    Not a makeup, but I think it counts. I got Nishane Wulong Cha X. I love it so much. It was a blind buy, on recommendation by Olivia Olfactory on Insta. It is a citrusy black tea, I love it so much. Happy New Year to you, thank you for your fun content

        From reading you for a while, I know you like a good gourmand perfume, so I’m not sure this particular one would be in your wheelhouse. To me, this one smells like a more sophisticated Fresh Sugar Lemon. I was in love with that scent ages ago, but this one is so much better. Strong citrus opening, which mellows to a nice clean skin scent. I don’t really have a good perfume vocab, but I smell some white florals and light musk. On me, it has a nice longevity. Spritz it in the morning, can still smell it after work. Blind buys are tricky, but this one is great.

    ok i am getting those eyeshadows! i love anything sparkly. my last haul was the too faced sunset strip palette and i am in shock at how often i use it. great colors and easy to wear. i also got a cute charlotte tilburry lipstick and pencil set from my niece for xmas (ok i saw it at the checkout aisle and said get this for me). hey it was priced right and the perfect gift!

    looking forward to seeing the b&bw vday stuff! i’m hoping they take the pistachio candle they made and turn it into a line of bath products. the candle smell is the pure dupe for laura mercier creme de pistache.
