Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Another Bust of a Year
Eh…! Another year, another Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that sucks. I know everyone is busy promoting this sale at the moment but I’m just not into and haven’t been for a few years now. The sale just isn’t what it was and it’s a bit boring and uneventful. There are a few odd pieces that caught my eye like the MAC Eyeshadow & Liner Set looks lovely for Fall and it’s only $39 with free shipping. But this is where I step in and take a trip down memory lane and talk about how the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale would have an entire MAC Color Story! Palettes, eyeliners, lipsticks, the whole she-bang! Those were the days my friends!
The sale isn’t as fabulous was but some items are still worth grabbing. For example, the Play Everyday Lotion SPF 50 Home & Away Sunscreen Set is a great value. I remember I’d totally make fun of how large this was but honestly, I get it now that I’m older. I love the Play Everything formula! It absorbs quickly, wears well under makeup, and works great on either your face or body so having a larger size is just smart! Another great buy is the Simple Human 8-Inch Sensor Rechargeable Tabletop Mirror. These used to be a bit cheaper but still, at $140 it’s a steal from the $200 retail. I LOVE these mirrors. They’re high quality, zoom into every little detail, and are great for both makeup application and just general beauty tasks like plucking your brows!
Not a lot caught my eye but I did grab the Charlotte Tilbury Blush & Glow Glide Set which has a full-sizes of Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk, Glow Glides Hollywood Highlighter in Pillow Talk, and Glowgasm Beauty Wand Highlighter in Pinkgasm!
