Here’s Why I’d Spend $52 on the Dior Forever Skin Perfect Stick

$52? For a foundation stick? Yes, the new Dior Forever Skin Perfect Stick is a matte yet hydrating stick foundation with a blurred, natural finish that promises all day wear. Apparently, the formula resists heat and humidity. It’s already gotten rave reviews on a variety of forums and a few shades have already sold out. According to what I’ve read people love the easy glide on the stick but also, how it makes skin look like porcelain.

I’m a long time lover of stick foundations! My love goes as far back as the Benefit Playsticks. Not enough brands do a good foundation stick and I’d love to see more of them because they are incredibly easy to apply, easy to travel with, easy for touch ups on the go, and they almost always have a formula that makes skin look incredibly flawless.

During the Holiday season the Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick went on sale for $42. It was originally $90 bucks. After purchasing it I understood why it was $90 bucks. The formula is brilliant. The texture is like silk on my skin and it has the easiest glide! It practically applies itself! It’s just so soft, silky, and smooth! If I had to do it all over again and pay full-price I’d totally indulge. The formula was just that good. That’s why I have no issue spending $52 for the Dior Forever Skin Perfect Stick because if it’s half as good as the Tom Ford I’m pretty sure it’ll be worth that expensive price tag.

Granted, I’ll probably wait for 20% off during the Sephora Holiday Savings Event or if Ulta hits me with a 20% off I’ll grab it then! But I have a feeling if I love it I’ll likely be more than happy paying full-price. As someone who likes natural, lightweight coverage and also, an easy way to apply it (who doesn’t love a swipe, blend, and go moment?) the Dior Forever Skin Perfect Skin sounds like that girl!

Have you tried Dior Forever Skin Perfect Skin? Are you curious to try it?

ugh I’m devasted you’re the second person to tell me it sucks! Well, money saved! and I was going to blind buy it as I felt sure I’d love it!

Didn’t say it sucked. I will go back tomorrow to test it in my shade. Overall, I liked it (the small amount I got on my hand) but I do want to see how much product you get for the $74 here. Also have my eye on the new blush/higlighter combo.

I like it. Looks natural and can easily build it up for more coverage. It also lasts pretty long considering I get oily later in the day.

I’m on the fence so many people told me it’s a no! I think I need to see it in person for sure 😀
